yes look like we are not even considering greenery in any of our infra development works going on whereas it should , it must be included in every plan before execution begins

It's common among all major Indian cities that city planners somehow avoid trees every single time. Not sure if this is also some scam to make money, I won't be surprised if it is.

In my opinion, yes often both planning and execution lag each other. In India, the issue is often not absence of ideas, but fragmented urban design, weak coordination, and inconsistent execution. Good architecture is not just buildings; it is systems thinking.

Who puts trees in a car parking? The roots will damage the floor as the tree expands The trunk will create hindrance in movement of vehicles given the fact that parkings have tight limited spaces for each car.

This concrete jungle creates brutal heat in summers. Mandate 30-40% green cover & shaded walkways in every major infra project. Modern stations shouldn’t feel like parking lots.

The grand architecture looks impressive but struggles with day-to-day operations and long-term upkeep. • Poor maintenance & cleanliness: Once “world-class”, it now suffers from grime, litter on platforms, rubbish near tracks, and dirty washrooms/drinking areas due to inadequate upkeep and passenger habits. • Limited seating & facilities: Uncomfortable seats designed poorly; very few AC waiting lounges (only 2), pushing passengers toward paid options. • Entrance & traffic issues: Unplanned auto/taxi stands cause frequent jams and inconvenience for passengers with luggage. • Other complaints: Network issues, occasional leaks in underground areas, and reports of high costs leading to cost-cutting in services.

Too often, development focuses on speed and scale, while long-term architectural planning, livability, and resilience are treated as afterthoughts.

Architecture without ecology is just a heat trap. Looking at this, you can almost feel the heat radiating off the ground. Effective planning should prioritize pedestrian comfort which means shade, drainage, and oxygen. We need to stop building for cars/parking and start building for people."

Believe me there used to be hundreds of dense trees in and around Rani Kamalapati Station before it was re-developed. They cut all the trees and planted not a single one.
