also, i don’t think it not being on spotify should be a reason for cutting it out of the running, having this award sponsored by spotify and only allowing soundtracks on that platform delegitimizes the award and ignores fantastic soundtracks for no reason

“Leveled Up by Spotify” that tells everything you need to know, the soundtrack isn’t on Spotify so it got cut out…..

The music is crazy good yes, we pretty much saw that (remix or not or whatever the hell people talk about), but its sadly not eligible as it's not leveled up by Spotify, just like shown before the nominees show up. Even if the music was on Nintendo Music, it wouldn't count :(

Two remixes that sound worse than the original is not good enough for a best score nomination. The worst track in Silksong sounds substantially better than these two tracks in particular.

One of my favorite tunes is SNES Koopa Beach’s cause turning the entire course into a rave was the most odd ball yet best decision ever
