Doug Ford put in speed cameras to make our streets safer and protect children, and now he’s ripping them out. Speed cameras have reduced collisions and saved lives. The program can and should be improved to maximize fairness, but scrapping it altogether is reckless. Property taxes are high and police budgets are going up. We need to use our police resources to go after criminals, not be on traffic patrol.
