At this point, it's clear that Chris is one of, if the the most, consistent creators in this space. He's evolved as a person but his message continues to be internally coherent. His presence has aged like wine (no homo)

Fuck. I felt that. This is something I know for a fact I have a tendence to do. I literally try to optimize every part of my life, and I try to create this perfect timeline of how things are going to play out. First I'll work, then I'll go out and train and speak to at least 1 person, then in a couple of months I'll be making a lot of money, then I'll start approaching more girls. I don't want to slow down, but I think what you are saying is gold. Gratitude journaling and some time to reflect on the good things is something I'm gonna start doing. That will make life a little less serious I think.

If all people did as you advised throughout the history, we would have no progress. We shouldn’t maybe take everything too seriously but focusing only on the fun part makes us ignore others, move away from empathy.

I think this attitude of '3 generations from now, no one will know you' is a shitty one. Take life seriously, have children, raise them well and you'll be remembered. My great grandfather died 20 years ago, and both my kids (12 & 4) know who he was and his impact on our family.

“Two eternities” that’s an athiest viewpoint which you’re totally entitled to. But quit a lot of people believe in existence beyond earth.

So having fun is the goal in life? Luxury belief. One can take life seriously without fretting over the small problems. Think of half the planet who are trying to have consistent meals and a future for their kids. Are you saying they should focus on having more fun?

Take your actions seriously. Take what happens lightly.

Perspective is everything.
