Aretha Franklin. It Hurts Like Hell

So many people sleep on this song…and it’s my favorite song on the WTE Soundtrack 😌

💯💯💯

Released Aretha Franklin her heartbreaking single It Hurts Like Hell for the Waiting to Exhale soundtrack! 🎤 The Queen of Soul delivered a vocal performance so powerful it became a modern R&B standard. 🔥✨ 🤔 Fun Fact: Aretha recorded the vocals in just one master take! 🎙️ Her technical control was so bizarre that producer Babyface decided not to edit a thing, capturing every breath and raw emotion from the legend. 🎹🎼 Did you know? 🤯

she stepped on that stage and sang the fuck out that song PERIOD

Deep cut

💯🔥

Then background singers ain’t hitting like they should

Gotta be my favorite song from her and then jump to it

To me, this was the last great song from the Queen!
