love how much it encapsulates who he is as a leader/revolutionary, and his role in the rebellion--romanticizing sacrifices; "cannon fodder", transforming hopelessness into something sacred; "this perfect night." revolutionary impulse at its most uncompromising. that's Saw.

this is the type of stuff i imagine saw’s rebels were ready to do the moment they hear him speak that line

one thing i appreciate is how it also adds another texture to his relationship w/ Jyn. he spent his life telling his rebels that their expendability is their purpose, but Jyn forces him to see that sometimes, sacrifice are simply sacrifices and there's nothing beautiful abt it

And yes, that the act of sacrifice itself is beautiful - a beautiful act of love (agape love - the greatest love of all)

I was so happy when Forest Whitaker returned. I wanted 2see more of Saw Gerrera. He's such a brilliant actor. @andorofficial is full of talented people, from the writers, cast, directors, producers & all the people behind the editing, sound, design, costumes, etc. Fantastic work
