According one of the mechanic he says, bus had a mechanical issue. They worked on it but still bus wasn't in full condition so they advised the driver to pass on the students to another bus but he refused. Bus driver's greedy caused the accident. The bus clipped his mirror anyway. 🪞 On Sarjapur Road in Bengaluru, a driver stopped his car when a BMTC bus pulled into the lane ahead of him and the conductor signaled to the driver. Thinking it might be a bus stop with passengers about to disembark, he stayed still. Instead, as the bus pulled away moments later, it reportedly swung slightly and struck his stationary car's right mirror → visible flying off in his own footage. The bus continued on. He says the conductor and passengers noticed but the driver didn't stop. When he pulled to the side to collect the broken mirror, a traffic cop reportedly began questioning him for causing an obstruction — with no acknowledgment of what had actually happened moments earlier. The driver of the Climax Coaches bus involved in the road accident that claimed the life of former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo has been identified as Tirus Kamau Githinji, a long-serving driver with Climax Coaches who has worked for the company for about eight years. According to his account, the crash occurred early on December 13, 2025, around 3:00 a.m. on the Nairobi–Nakuru Highway at Karai, Naivasha. He was driving a bus carrying 65 passengers from Nairobi to Busia when a vehicle driven by Hon. Cyrus Jirongo entered the highway from a petrol station and collided head-on with his bus after failing to give way. Kamau said he tried to avoid the collision but believed swerving could have caused his bus to overturn and endanger all aboard, so he braked and absorbed the impact. He only learned that the other driver was Cyrus Jirongo after police arrived at the scene. He gave his side of the story and apologised. May Hon. Jirongo rest in peace.

🛑 *Alert* On 5 Dec 2023, a group of children (20) traveling on a bus from Pretoria to Cape Town. Another passenger on the bus noticed that the children were not excited or noisy, like children would act when going on holiday, They were very quiet, and the other passenger noticed that during bus breaks, the children were not getting off the bus. So this passenger alerted a family member in Kimberly to call the police and search the bus during their break in Kimberley. Police acting on a tip off immediately stopped and searched the bus. It was discovered that the children were kidnapped and the children didn't even know each other. The children are currently in a place of safety in Kimberley and will be reunited with their families soon A Zimbabwean couple was arrested.

If you're a bus driver, or passenger in Wolverhampton, don't get a job or use National Express NX West Midlands, as they fail to protect both. A pack of youths attack a driver, giving him a beating. Another driver intervenes to protect him. The driver was given a final warning by the company. My sources say they wanted to sack him. Only protests from colleagues & threatening to go on strike, stopped it. Another driver on Boxing Day was smashed in the face getting the bus when in uniform. National Express refused to pay him as it was before his shift.
