She learned the hard way that posting something derogatory about ICE has consequences that apparently she wasn’t expecting. She’s in tears because of the blowback she got. Do I feel sorry for her? No . She posted her opinion, and People responded that that’s how it goes. Do I think the comments about her being fat, and ugly are unnecessary? 🦊 first of all, if i talk about that time.. i honestly couldn’t imagine that so many people would come but while i was getting my hair and makeup done, i heard from a staff that people were starting to gather at the store. so i was like “really?” then they showed me a photo and there were so many people. even during that time, the floor are was totally packed so i was like “what? this many people came?” at first i couldn’t believe it but by the time i arrived, there were really so many people 🦊 at first, i was like “even if people come, how many people could it really be?” i was honestly thinking like that. but there were really so many people that i was really shocked 🦊 the cheers were so loud. you know like when it’s that loud, you can’t even hear anything. there was a kind of ringing like “ting~” 🦊 so i was like “whoa” i keep going “whoa whoa” while greeting everyone. i came in like that 🦊 i was really surprised that time and it’s been a long time since i felt something like that

Full context. I was at the dog park and I saw a woman wearing a “We The People” shirt. I told her I liked it, but I could immediately smell alcohol emanating off her breath. She asked me why I like the shirt and I said because it’s generally a tagline of the right. Plus, the couple that she was with, I met a few nights ago and the husband was wearing a MAGA hat. She started looking at my colorful outfit and started asking me if I knew what colors I was wearing. Now, admittedly, I’m a little colorblind so sometimes purples look like blues. So I told her I’m wearing blue, orange and yellow. Suddenly a flip switched, and she got very upset that I called my jersey blue instead of purple. She pinched my nipple unexpectedly, which I ignored, but backed away. She then started asking me to give her my sunglasses and when I said no, she swiped for them hitting me in the head. At that point, I said “please stop touching me. I don’t want you near me anymore. You’re drunk go away.” It was at this point I realized I should probably turn my camera on and start filming this drunken idiot. She is so drunk she trips over her own legs and falls and then accuses me of kicking her. The couple she was with kept telling her that I did not kick her. I am so happy that I turned the camera on when I did. People lie. The camera never does.

I’m going to be honest. It’s been really hard on me. I’m unapologetically black in a predominantly white space and I face battles that no one else has to deal with. Culturally I’m different from literally every other person in this space so I feel completely misunderstood at times. People create fake accounts to harass me, I’ve been called the N word more times than I ever have in my life, people who I don’t even know go on podcasts and make up lies about me being a “runner”. Some people even found my mom’s number on the internet and called her house trying to get to me. Even when I’m winning it feels like every single bet or analysis is life or death. I don’t feel like I’m given the grace that other people may get who look different from me. I love what I do but I don’t deserve to be treated the way I’m treated by people especially for how much I’ve given to this space. I also don’t take kindly to being constantly called a DEI hire with all the things I’ve accomplished either. I probably don’t handle it the best. Ivy League degree aside, deep down I’m still a black kid from South West Philly and when I feel attacked, I revert back to the version of me that had to survive growing up. I try not to engage as much and ignore the noise but I’m not perfect. I’m still growing and still trying to become the best version of myself.
