ARIZONA— New audio between an election worker and caller as votes were still being counted in Maricopa County last year: “Someone should shoot you in the head.” (The Washington Post obtained the audio through a public records request)

@washingtonpost There are ways to question government officials and most are happy to explain their systems. Threats like these can’t be tolerated. The local jurisdictions must be willing to prosecute. And so must Merrick Garland.
