Arkansas’ Billy Richmond III just shot 17/25 on the 3-point star drill. He’s now tied for sixth so far for the NBA Combine. The leader, Kingston Flemings, shot 19/25. This comes after he tied Darius Acuff Jr. for first in the 3/4 court sprint at 3.06 seconds and finished first in the pro lane drill at 10.23 seconds (0.23 seconds faster than second place).

This is what makes me laugh about you idiots on X who jump in my comments on a daily basis…… Bronny James played in the McDonald’s All-American game following his senior year of high school. He was the best SHOOTER on the court by FAR, scoring 15 points and shooting 5/8 from 3-point range. He went to USC. He was projected to be a one-and-done player. He dropped dead from sudden cardiac arrest prior to his first practice. Emergency staff at the scene was able to bring him back with CPR. 99% of basketball players would have never touched a basketball again. Bronny returned to the court after just four months. The normal recovery time for his heart trauma was/is about 2 years. He joined the USC basketball team, and completed the season while suffering physically, mentally, and emotionally. If you have never dropped dead, then you will never understand the mental impact of this experience. I don’t give a crap about his college stats for obvious reasons…..nor did NBA GM’s. —————————————————— Following the season, he declared for the NBA Draft. He attended the NBA Draft combine along with 77 other collegiate players. Out of 78 players at the combine, Bronny was the 2nd best shooter in shooting drills. I am attaching live video of Bronny going through shooting drills at the combine in front of NBA Coaches and GM’s. It takes THOUSANDS of reps to shoot like this under PRESSURE. THOUSANDS. 85% of the guards in the NBA can’t shoot like this on the run. He then recorded a 40.5” vertical, giving him the 4th highest vertical of all of the players at the combine. ———————————————— After witnessing his combine performance, the Warriors, Mavericks, Timberwolves, and Raptors all wanted to draft Bronny. His agent, Rich Paul, told them to pass because the Lakers had already assured him that they would be drafting Bronny with the 55th pick. 2 years removed from his sudden cardiac arrest episode, Bronny is just now fully back to his physical and mental form. He’s back dunking over guys now. He’s back to playing tough defense, and he finally has the heart endurance to play quality minutes. All EARNED!! Nothing given!

I chose to reserve my most comprehensive evaluation for my nephew. The ability to evaluate and forecast talent is a gift from God that I’ve had since I was young. Draymond is a favorite of mine due to his unapologetic candor. Darius Acuff Jr. will undoubtedly be the next elite point guard. His landing spot in the draft will be just the beginning; get ready to purchase his signature Reeboks and witness greatness. I’ve had inquiries about becoming a NBA GM one day and for the time being I’m going to focus on my girls team with my daughter, the kids under my management company, and my nephew. But who knows what the future holds…

DeJon Jarreau, the point guard leader of Houston's 2021 breakthrough Final Four team, tells PaperCity Magazine that Kelvin Sampson making the UH facilities always open to former players helps build on the NBA success of former Coogs. "I take a lot of pride in just being a stepping stone in starting something special here." Jarreau says. "Just to be able to see the program go to great heights and still be able to come here and use all the amenities here. "To still be able to use the gym, the cold tub, come to practice. . . It's a great feeling to still be able to do that. And still be able to have access and still come around and still be a part of it." Jarreau is working on his own game this offseason, hoping for another NBA shot. He's also building up his Lost Karacter clothing line, recently doing his fourth drop of new merchandise. I ended up playing the claw machine, and somehow someway I won, I had the Spurs teddy bear. And this is during like the peak run of you know the Kawhi, Manu, Parker, you know just the legends, Timmy.. I kept it, ended up giving it to my little brother. My favorite part about this was Karl-Anthony Towns could’ve just come to the station, done our interview and left. Instead he stayed and spent time with us. He was genuinely interested in learning about our jobs. It was such a cool experience. He was getting ready for the NBA Draft. I remember asking him what his first big purchase would be. I love that he said paying off his parents’ mortgage. We were blessed to have KAT at Kentucky. So happy he could win it all with the Knicks. He truly is the best on and off the court!

Ok, I’ve had it. I feel like I’m living in bizarro world, and this is why the NBA MVP is now meaningless. Last night Luka Doncic became the first player in NBA history to put up a stat line of - 40+ Points, 10+ Assists, 5+ Rebounds, 5+ Threes, and 0 Turnovers So today the media ignores that, and an MVP voter (Chris Broussard) proclaims that Shai doesn’t have to campaign for the MVP award, because he is “cool”. However, Luka Doncic, because he isn’t “cool” dropped in ranking, by not begging for the award. The reason?? Because an activist MVP voter that writes for the NBA, moved Wembanyama to #1 on his list, after campaigning for the award. Not for his play, but because of an embarrassing speech he gave to the media. So we ignore the historic month that Luka Doncic just had to make the MVP race about THIS. By the way, what makes Shai so “cool” Chris Broussard that he’s exempt from your imaginary benchmark?? Is it because he’s a white European?? If that’s the case, at least have the guts to say it. They’re admitting right in front of your face that it doesn’t matter what Luka Doncic does on the court, they will find any dumb reason to not vote for him, then laugh about it on TV. Kobe didn’t need all these gimmicks man. He just played hard as the best player in the sport and it motivated others to do the same. The league has bad player leadership. Kobe wouldn’t have allowed what the All Star has become. Kobe led by example and ever since he left it’s obvious that he was the LAST OF THE DAWGS from true mega/superstars in the game. Lebron and Steph don’t have this.. they Can’t produce what they don’t have. This was on display obviously in the 2013 all star where Kobe put Lebron in the corner and locked him up. Buts it’s not just the defense, it’s the tenacity and seriousness in which he approached the all star game. The activity on fighting off screens etc. This type of heart for the game is long gone. Kobe left and so did the heart of the NBA. Changing the format won’t change anything. We need new mega stars that love the game like Kobe did.
