🚨 POLICE TICKET WOMAN FOR USING HER RIGHT HAND - SHE DOESN’T HAVE ONE A woman records herself getting pulled over - then films the entire exchange. The officer writes her a citation for holding a phone in her right hand while driving. She doesn’t argue. She doesn’t correct him. She doesn’t explain anything. He repeats what he “saw.” Writes the ticket. Tells her to take it to court. She accepts it. Drives away. All of it on video. What happens when this gets read out loud in court?

A #Florida deputy pulled over adaptive athlete Katie Thomas in February for ‘holding and manipulating her phone with her right hand’ while driving. There’s just one problem: Katie was born without her right hand. She showed the officer her nub on bodycam, even did the ‘hand to God’ bit while raising it… and he still issued her a $116 citation for handheld device use anyway. The ticket has now been dismissed for lack of evidence.

Police officer pulls over a woman for distracted driving because he thought he saw her hold a phone with her right hand while driving. Turns out she doesn’t have a right hand which she shows to the officer.. He brings it to court anyway. If you were this cop, would you have let her go once you saw that she did not have a right hand? In the end, the charges were dismissed. In my opinion, the officer should have laughed it off and said sorry my mistake, but I might be wrong about that.
