It has now become clear that the Nihangs occupying the Gurdwara in Uttarakhand is not a mere "internal Sikh issue." The Nihangs have taken over the Gurdwara purely as a pressure tactic against the Uttarakhand government. Their demands include the release of other arrested nihangs (viral nihangs) and permission to carry out open mischief, along with several other unreasonable demands.
