Scroll-triggered animations are coming to Chrome early next year (and we've been really excited about this one for a bit!) 🥳 Unlike scroll-driven animations (already in Chrome & Safari), this API introduces "timeline-trigger" and "animation-trigger" to start an animation within a specific range, rather than relying on the scroller completion *as* the animation timeline. I got nerd-sniped and wanted to try it out so I built this shape morphing demo to show how you can apply multiple animations to the same element over with different triggers. PRETTY COOL IMO! Hermes Agents aren’t making it easy for OpenClaw. the reason Hermes took off needs to be studied, some personal thoughts: > Hermes won the lottery for timing. OpenClaw proved the demand but took so much hit for being the first. the take-off was huge but it went down just as fast. > the development seems more disciplined than 100s of commits made for OpenClaw. and in general the roadmap looks nicer. > Hermes seems to lock in the “continuity” of the agents best. it searches past sessions, creates skills and updates them.

** Tarkov Armor Suggestion / Discussion ** Nikita Buyanov Battlestate Games Currently armor feels very pointless, even with the most expensive armors in the game. I personally think the soft armor sections are to blame for this, and not necessarily the new hitboxes themselves. I believe there's only one armor that has IV coverage over the majority of the torso, and it's a really bad ceramic rig, everything else is level III + plates. We're basically running around with glorified UNTAR armor (LVL III) if you get shot anywhere other than the plates. Rework suggestion: - Buff soft armor inserts in higher tier armor, especially for the vital sections. A player shouldn't be getting 2 shot anywhere on the torso by horrible ammo while wearing a 200- 500k armor (unless it's exposed). - Rebalance the HP of the new higher tier soft armor sections so they aren't completely overpowered. - Treat the plates as more of a buff to the overall armor, rather than the primary protection. - QoL - add some visual differences to plates, because currently you have to double-click to see the LVL (in mod screen). Plates are confusing and I think most players just use the ones they're comfortable with, or they don't mess with them at all. Expected outcome: - Running really expensive armor will actually be worth it again, and should protect against low tier ammo much more efficiently. - Armor coverage will still be a high priority. - Increases overall TTK and will make fights much more interesting. - Players will be encouraged to shoot the head rather than just getting completely lucky hitting a soft parts of the torso. I feel like this would end up being very reminiscent to previous versions of armor, and alleviate some the randomness of dying to the torso/neck, but not all of it of course. I had to upgrade to stupid premium account to make this post, so please share your thoughts lmao

Though I will not claim all are gasoline smugglers. Just saying it fits too and some likely are. So, the U.S. likely targeted a gasoline smuggler from Columbia to Venezuela … that’s more like a small national dispute between South American countries … where the U.S. gets involved in?

Dubai is known for its iconic buildings and wide city roads, making it a city of big things. Even frequent travelers are always in awe of the city’s grandeur. Imagine what Dubai must be like for your 75-year-old mom! I took her to Burj Khalifa, where we met an Ugandan at the security checkpoint who greeted us in Luganda. Mom was thrilled to see someone from Uganda. At the Marina, we met an Indian family from Uganda who spoke Luganda, which was quite interesting. It seems Luganda was their code language until we boarded. Their conversation was pleasant, and we greeted them later as we disembarked. I thought I should share an update. Thanks for the love on these streets. I am happy that some people have reached out to me about organizing an annual trip to give their elders an experience of a lifetime. This could become a movement where 10 to 20 folks are given smiles.

I've always wondered if the fixation by some American Catholics on the Latin mass and other types of "liturgy wars" isn't mainly due to the lack of any real devotional culture and popular piety among the faithful here (outside of certain ethnic communities). This doesn't mean that the mass shouldn't be celebrated with the reverence and solemnity that it rightfully deserves, but the obsession of some for the TLM due to feeling a lack of mystery and connection to the Divine seems to be filled for many other Catholics around the world (such as in Mediterranean, LatAm, and Slavic countries) by strong cults manifesting around the Virgin Mary, the Saints, and accompanying religious processions.

Some people see a man being very cruel to a young boy here. That's not what I see. Achilles just taught this young boy something important. Something most people never learn. They never have anyone to tell them. ACHILLES TOLD HIM. Sure, it hurts to hear the truth, many times. The only people who make their mark in this world, who do great things...are those who can overcome their fear. The boy is being honest. He's seen the warrior that Achilles is about to fight. He tells the truth. "I wouldnt' want to fight him." It seems cold and distant, what Achilles says to him in response: "That is why no one will remember your name." You can be safe. Or you can be great. We don't live in a world where you can be both. Do you want to be remembered? Do you want to be great? Do you want the glory? Well, you'll never achieve it in the safe zone, staying away from the danger. Life isn't about how much comfort you can enjoy. Life about doing things that matter. And that means... You have to WANT to fight the Thessalonian.

I am completely saddened to see what has happened to Grok Imagine with it's latest update. It's a massive downgrade in motion and it prioritizes slow motion and random zooming in that is not even prompted. Prompt adherence seems to be suffering. If you can't see the night and day difference here, I don't know what else to say. Instead of just talking, look at my comparisons. I am very vocal and honest on here, this update is bad and it needs to be fixed. Grok Imagine used to showcase some of the most realistic and fluid motion, making it outperform a lot of other AI Video generators. To see it get butchered like this is extremely disappointing. Please fix this or roll back the changes. I am not the only one complaining here, just search for "grok imagine update" and read the replies for yourself. The community is not happy. This is not the direction it should be heading in. People in the community need to learn to also be honest and speak up, step outside of your bubble for once. I trust the devs see our complaints and make changes to what was once an incredibly powerful AI video generator.
