Oeps, seems this man is a liar. No pitch change needed to follow Earths curvature. Any real pilot will confirm that.

No, he didn't say that at all. Did you even watch the video?

Cool story bro

Spoken like someone who doesn’t understand it at all. 1) a gyroscope isn’t an instrument, it’s a component of an instrument, 3 instruments on a normal 6 pack 2) AHs are mounted horizontally and spin slower than the DG and T&S for a reason. This guy knows fuck all

Gyrocompasses, which use a mechanical gyroscope to detect the rotation of the earth and align with the axis to point to geographic north/south, are proof the earth cannot be flat and or stationary.

This man is a liar and has absolutely no idea about how gyroscopes work and I know as I have maintained them on many an occasion, have a good read about gyroscopic theory and how they are used as a compass.

The US Army isn’t flying anything that can stay aloft long enough for the artificial horizon to move meaningfully from the actual horizon.

0:38 he definitely said artificial horizon because the real one is under eye level Got you.

Lmfao. No.

That’s not how a gyroscope works, and planes don’t fly in space like the picture shows.

It stays level... because... gravity...

One consistency is that flat earthers seem to NEVER KNOW UP FROM DOWN. It’s magnificent, seeing them base arguments on such an enormous void of ignorance.

Don’t be so easily fooled by con men. The instrument has mechanisms that correct for flying around curvature. This was proven and demonstrated years ago. You are showing the world you are stupid if you fell for the flat earth scam. Did you?

Gyros have pendulous vanes in order to stay aligned with gravity.

The issue is confusion about what gyroscopes are defining, calibrating to. The earth is not flat, but the instrumentation translates it from the gyro reading into a “flat” plane. You wouldnt need a gyroscope if the earth was actually flat.

Army pilot is wrong.

So this “pilot” is apparently unaware that gyrocompasses are designed to autocorrect for the changing gravity vector using pendulous vanes.

I certainly wouldn't want him flying an airplane in which I am riding. He's an idiot. I've flown all over the Earth. It's a sphere. He likely never left his training area.

The horizon being horizontal is all the proof anyone needs to know the earth is a level plane

imagine a pilot not knowing gyroscope corrections who did he fly for the wright brothers

for basic training the students are told to assume a flat earth. That's so they can get the simple concepts right before facing the real world which is not flat Ask a few other pilots

Do they have pilots in the army? Glad he’s not flying my plane🤡
