It's so trippy to see pilots where the designs are pretty much the same, but all colours are completely different.

I remember seeing the actual episode that came out based on the Pilot, but never the Pilot itself. Kinda... Crazy if you ask me.

I still have my Nickelodeon alarm clock ⏰

I remember seeing this for the first time in the theater before Harriet the Spy. My mom still quotes Helga’s “XX:XX hours ‘til you diiiieeee” to this da.

The "I'm Crazy" song in Hey Arnold! is officially titled "I'm Crazy" (also known as "I'll Hit Me!"), written by Jim Lang and Craig Bartlett. It is sung by R&B singer Gavin Christopher and features in the episode "24 Hours to Live,"

And to think Hey Arnold started off as Stop Motion, And he did BTW.

It's interesting hearing Justin Shenkarow before his voice started changing from puberty and creating the Harold voice we know and love. This is the only non-Klasky-Csupo Nicktoon project Sunwoo's Anivision division animated on (Anivision was folded into Sunwoo in 2000).

?????? I mean, I think at 9 I'd rather get hit by an overweight preteen than to give myself multiple concussions by breaking multiple glass plates over my head and possibly breaking my neck with self Piledrivers on the hoods of multiple cars. But that's just me 😂😂

You call that football shaped? that shape is so flat, hard to imagine what his skull and his brain look like

one time me and my spouse had watched this earlier in the day and later when it was like 3am we were so sleep deprived and giggly we both turned to each other out of nowhere and was like "WATCH MEEeehh!!" lol we laughed for like 10 minutes straight.

This is before Justin Shenkarow's voice changed.

The pilot seemed more cartoony back then

Interesting piece of Hey Arnold media. ✌️

I never realized how creepy the animations in the show were when I was a youth. Still doesn’t compare to Ren & Stimpy tho

It’s good that they changed the colors; it feels strange seeing it when you’ve always known that scene with the colors we’re familiar with.

Which Is Later Adapted into The Episode, “24 Hours to Live.”

@foxicachild

"You should never hit a crazy person." Tell that to Batman!

Damn I watched the whole series and never knew about this, always thought it was the fruit episode.

Wow it was going to be a silly and cartoonish comedy, very far from the slice of life drama it became in the end

@VAbrickaleg Why didn't you use the 35mm print :(

everyone is way more fucking crazy than this now

Didn’t Arnold also appear in Sesame Street?

@brutalpuncher1 Harold in the pilot episode had a different shirt and his voice made him sound younger.

Curly with red hair😭💔

Stewie's real dad

The pilot here is an incredible

Ya they made the right choice picking the new voice actor for Gerald

I had no idea that this was the pilot episode. Also there was a remake of this many years later.

Hubo un capítulo en el que paso algo muy similar no?

Damn didn’t even know this existed
