Lecturers and staff at Moi University had been on strike for an extended period before joining the nationwide strike that began on September 18 and was called off on September 26 following government intervention. After the nationwide strike the university's lecturers resumed their internal strike which also involves university staff. As a result, students report that there are no learning activities taking place on campus. Video clips circulating on WhatsApp groups show students aimlessly wandering around the campus.

#Hyderabad--- With slogans: ‘Reclaim our Land’, and ‘Reclaim our Rocks’, students of the University of Hyderabad Students’ Union 2024-25 have taken up a protest for the protection of the 400 acres of land in #KanchaGachibowli. The Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited (TSIIC) recently announced the auction of 400 acres of land in Kancha Gachibowli, Serilingampally Mandal, Hyderabad. The land incorporates the Mushroom Rock area in the University of Hyderabad, near its East Campus. The auction was scheduled between March 8 and 15. On Thursday, the University of Hyderabad Students’ Union 2024-25 gave a call for a protest at the site of the ongoing bulldozing. Hundreds of students, faculty members, university staff and environmental activists gathered at the East Campus and marched to save the land. Kancha Gachibowli is one of the few remaining urban forests in Hyderabad. This habitat hosts a wide range of birds and animals.

"A group of students and fraternity brothers at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill patriotically protected an American flag that had been disturbed by demonstrators during an anti-Israel protest on their campus," the announcement read. OSPAC Nabs 3 Suspected Cültists at Ignatius Ajuru University The Rumuorlumeni OSPAC intercepted cultists who were shooting sporadically around Ignatius Ajuru University of Education in Rivers State. While being chased by OSPAC operatives, the suspects fled into the creeks but were eventually apprehended by the Rumuorlumeni OSPAC team led by Comrade, Kenneth Orlumeni. Two rìfles were recovered from them, and the suspects have been handed over to the Department of State Services (DSS). The arrested suspects have been identified as follows: 1. Sman Friday Wanyanwu – Level 200, Department of Software Engineering 2. Woko Chibuike – Level 300, Department of Computer Engineering 3. Clinton Smart – Level 200, Department of R.C.S.
