This angers me to no end. These woman are part of a volunteer trap and release program to STOP CAT BREEDING. The city disgusts me. Classic ignorance.

@CityofWetumpka this is how you treat people in your city?? This city and its police department are a fucking joke and embarrassment!

Now if they had brought some prayer mats to throw on the grass and face East, and call for death to America, nothing would have been said or done.

First of all, whoever edited the video to make it flip back and forth with the mirroring is an Idiot. Second, these โpublic servantsโ are also idiots. And Third, these judge who oversaw this case is the Biggest Idiot of them all. I sincerely hope that these Ladies Find Justice and every official involved loses their position.

Great job! Got 2 dangerous vet grannies in jail and made sure they donโt feed the cats. She also assaulted a cop by giving him those keys violently.

You can't trespass from public property unless a crime was committed. Rescuing cats is not a crime. But please don't go chasing the teenagers that bulk steal from cvs

Thanks for the tag @Dragon_Wise9 FOLLOW AND TAG WHEN NEEDED HERE ARE THE FACTS: Senior Citizens Arrested for Trespassing While Trapping Stray Cats in Alabama, Featured on โMy Strange Arrestโ Season 1, Episode 2 Beverly Roberts (85), Mary Alston (61) June 25, 2022 Wetumpka, Alabama (county-owned lot near Hill and Ready streets) Facts: Roberts and Alston were trapping and feeding stray cats as part of a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program to control the feral cat population. They were arrested for trespassing on a county-owned vacant lot after multiple warnings from Wetumpka authorities to stop feeding/trapping cats on public property. City officials claimed feeding cats created a nuisance, attracting more animals and causing property damage (e.g., buzzards damaging vehicles). Roberts had been trespassed from the nearby Elmore County Courthouse grounds in March 2022 for similar activities. On June 25, 2022, police responded with three vehicles; officers warned Alston to leave, but she and Roberts argued feeding cats on public property wasnโt illegal. Both were handcuffed, with allegations of rough handling (bruises reported). Alston faced additional charges for protesting Robertsโ arrest. Roberts - criminal trespassing (third-degree), disorderly conduct; Alston - criminal trespassing (third-degree), interfering with governmental operations. Trial (Dec 13, 2022): Wetumpka Municipal Court found both guilty. Sentenced to 2 years probation, 10 days jail (suspended), $100 fines each, plus court costs. Charges dismissed in April 2023 after appeal to Elmore County Circuit Court. Lawsuit Filed January 24, 2024, against Wetumpka police, mayor, and officials, alleging unlawful arrest, excessive force, and retaliation for TNR advocacy. Case featured in โMy Strange Arrestโ (A&E, aired July 26, 2023, S1E2, โCat Ladies Lockupโ), highlighting the arrestsโ unusual nature; body camera footage (released Dec 2022) went viral, sparking public outrage and support from animal rights groups.

Why on Earth would someone need to be certified to catch a cat? This is a job for @IfindRetards
