This angers me to no end. These woman are part of a volunteer trap and release program to STOP CAT BREEDING. The city disgusts me. Classic ignorance.

First of all, whoever edited the video to make it flip back and forth with the mirroring is an Idiot. Second, these “public servants” are also idiots. And Third, these judge who oversaw this case is the Biggest Idiot of them all. I sincerely hope that these Ladies Find Justice and every official involved loses their position.

You can't trespass from public property unless a crime was committed. Rescuing cats is not a crime. But please don't go chasing the teenagers that bulk steal from cvs

They were arrested for trespassing on a county-owned vacant lot after multiple warnings from Wetumpka authorities to stop feeding/trapping cats on public property. City officials claimed feeding cats created a nuisance, attracting more animals and causing property damage (e.g., buzzards damaging vehicles). Roberts had been trespassed from the nearby Elmore County Courthouse grounds in March 2022 for similar activities. On June 25, 2022, police responded with three vehicles; officers warned Alston to leave, but she and Roberts argued feeding cats on public property wasn’t illegal.
