@ArsenioHall TV was much more raw back then. Yes it had structure but there was a lot more leeway for spontaneity in case volatile situations arose. Today you would never see this air on a talk show outside of a POLITICAL setting. Tv/late night so formulaic. Controversy more behind scenes.
