If a patrol car is equipped to handle emergencies, basic first-aid and decontamination supplies should be a no-brainer. You can’t expect officers—or anyone else—to handle dangerous situations safely while being sent in without the basic equipment to protect themselves.

An eye wash kit could be as small as something that fits in your hand and less than $20. It’s absolutely crazy to me like you mentioned… at a minimum a basic first aid kit with an eye wash included in it.
