Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. Here are a few thoughts from this insightful video clip 👇🏽 1) One who has talent needs to stop being complacent, distracted and lazy and needs to start being focused and working hard to reach one’s goals. ARE YOU FOCUSED AND GIVING YOUR BEST? 2) What if the 🐇 was focused and working hard as well? It would have won the race, and the 🐢 would be left disappointed on losing despite all its sincere efforts. The question is, is it fair to have a race between 2 absolutely different talents/skill sets? Both the 🐇 and the 🐢 may be accomplished in their own skills, but they need to be in a race with those who possess the same skillset for a fair competition. Let’s recall what Albert Einstein said, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” ARE YOU IN THE RIGHT RACE? 3) Now imagine that the race was between two accomplished 🐇 🐇 or between two accomplished 🐢🐢 (two individuals of the same skillset) Still, one would win, and the other would lose. Despite all focus and hard work, victory and defeat are a part of life. One day we win, and on another, we lose. When we don’t get what we’ve toiled for, we may feel disappointed, and that’s fine. We’re sentient humans, after all. If we come out of the anguish of our loss in our own time, work with focus and commitment and get back to the race again, we’re a massive success. Real defeat is not the loss in the race but the lack of willingness and motivation to give it a shot again. READY TO GIVE IT A SHOT AGAIN? Dialectic ep. 50: Tyler Cowen & Nabeel Qureshi! You could talk to tylercowen and Nabeel S. Qureshi about anything and it would be interesting. Nabeel is a former guest and a true polymath who can go wide and deep. He'd long suggested I interview his friend and mentor Tyler: the epitome of that archetype. I wanted to do something special for 50, so I paired them together and hoped for some magic. I think we got some, and a few laughs, too. Despite their day jobs, Tyler and Nabeel are unlikely aesthetes who became friends in part through their shared love of film and art. So I spoke to them about how great art is often strange, aesthetic evolution, and a tour through some of their favorite artists (especially musicians). We also discussed sacred commitments, AI acceleration, good group chats, mentorship, whether Tyler will stop writing books, creating a bat signal for talent, becoming a great interviewer, Twitter's virtues, New York City, and more. Timestamps 0:00 - Opening highlights 1:18 - Intro to Tyler & Nabeel 4:38 - Sacred commitments, AI, markets & acceleration 20:36 - How art moves us 27:22 - Beauty, strangeness, great art & The Beatles 44:35 - Film, critics, learning to appreciate depth & "lowbrow" art 1:02:55 - New aesthetics, inspiration, optimism & pessimism 1:11:52 - The internet & Twitter's virtue, group chats, cities 1:22:06 - Mentors, (maybe quitting) writing books, friendship 1:35:27 - Interviewing, identifying talent & agency 1:47:21 - Closing questions Dialectic with Jackson Dahl 50: Tyler Cowen & Nabeel Qureshi - An Appetite for More - is available below and on all platforms. Gm! Our recent acquisition of 6529 Gradient #96 meant to orient our mission going forward, after 5 years of grassroots building. Today, we announce our biggest Common Good project yet, Formosa 6529, a permanent IRL exhibition of The Memes and 6529 network NFTs: Catch our founder HugoFaz.6259 on justinaversano's Moments of the Unknown to hear all about it, visit the website above or read more below. Common Goods are meant to reach and benefit the masses. The 6529 network has been funding and buidling over the years a massive public cultural archive of CC0 Art — intellectual property that belongs to all — in a revolutionary change of paradigm. However, the scale and cultural significance of The Memes as an art collection/movement has so far remained largely untapped. Beyond our core web3 communities, few ever get see, interact, much less use this vast archive to... spread the memes of decentralization, foster local creative economies, educate about crypto, monetize with branding, repurpose content, teach and learn creative techniques, or even just to enjoy amazing, groundbreaking art. There is no other CC0 contemporary art project of this scale and importance and the world needs to use it. It's time then we give 6529 its first permanent IRL home so it can be truly appreciated. Enter Formosa, a prime public gallery space built during Brazil's golden modernist years in the first half of the 20th century to host art events that aimed to deconstruct and repurpose the imported, colonialist artistic trends coming from Europe and devise an original brazilian art movement. From fusion restaurants to art schools to performative theater installations, Formosa Gallery thrived through successive occupations until finally enduring decades of abandon and misuse around the turn of the century. Recently, it was set to be restored and given purpose beyond its former glory, and we were there to propose the best possible turnaround for the space... Over years of negotiation with private and governmental parties, we managed to approve with public authorities a double use for the space: a private high-fidelity vinyl listening bar and restaurant — which is already operating — and a 100% public domain digital art gallery. Featuring up to 25 state-of-the-art digital screens ranging from 85 to 50 inches, Formosa 6529 will be the best and largest dedicated permanent exhibition of any web3 project. With rotating exhibitions of The Memes, NextGen and all future 6529 projects, Brain will have direct input on exhibitions via decentralized voting on curatorial proposals made by the community. To give us institutional freedom and censorship resistance, we decided to fully decentralize the funding for Formosa Gallery's installation and operation. Let's find out together what happens when we unleash CC0 art to the public! Daytime, Formosa 6529 will be fully open for free visitation. Occupying a busy public passageway under the historic Tea Bridge linking the Municipal Theatre to the City Hall, intentional visitors and hundreds of passerbys alike will be impacted by the exhibits. We will host many activities to showcase the power of The Memes and CC0 art: royalty-free merch sales by local craftspeople, artist rememe competitions, school guided tours, meme fashion shows, art and tech workshops, and many other activations the network can help us come up with. And every night, the Hi-Fi audience of 300-400 affluent Paulistas and tourists occupy Formosa Gallery sipping drinks and (now) discussing the latest Memes exhibit while waiting for their place in the listening bar. The Fundraiser for Formosa 6529 is open now and runs until November 15th. At a glance : The initial funding will require a minimum of 24 Ξ, which will cover: - All necessary infrastructure and interior adaptations - Equipment purchase and installation - Overhead costs for the grand opening event and for the entire 1st year of operation, opening day and night (mostly human resources – guides, security, tech, comms – and taxes) Funding will happen in 2 stages, the first of which is now open: 30 Meme Card Artists have generously committed to create and donate a new piece for this fundraiser; their names will be announced over the course of these 2 weeks. The unrevealed 1-of-1s are available here: Contributions are fully refundable if the fundraiser does not reach minimum threshold. If we succeed, the works will be revealed live in a randomized draw during the Grand Opening in January. The second stage will consist of a Meme Card, to allow for wider network participation, and only happens after the first stage is successful. Please visit for more information on funding rewards and goals, the FAQ, or reach out here or dm us at 6529 with any questions! This project is only possible due to the power of web3 and the network of believers in a decentralized future powered by NFTs. We can't wait to bring Formosa to life, and to have you here IRL with us for the exhibitions and to have a great time.

Interesting times in the maps space, and its exciting there is so much buzz - maps are awesome :) My parents Rakesh and Rashmi Verma pioneered digital mapping in India in 1995, returning from the US after a successful career there with the passion and desire to do something unique for India. And it’s been 20 years for me personally in the mapping space, since I was a 19-year old Stanford engineering undergraduate student and got involved in starting India’s first interactive mapping portal, I realise MapmyIndia is a relatively lesser known company amidst more consumer facing global and local players, so it would be great if this post can be amplified, so that more people can be made aware 🙏 Warm regards, Rohan Verma CEO & ED, MapmyIndia *** A few thoughts on maps: 1) Accuracy and quality of maps is critical. I’d caution folks to check out quality and reliability of maps by browsing those maps in areas familiar to them, and if they notice errors in them, in terms of incorrect places marked wrongly on the map, it should serve as a reminder not to rely on such maps. I’ve personally looked at the maps of various global and local players, and find so many inaccuracies, which confirms my belief that the difficult art and science of map-making is not as easy and people may imagine or claim. 2) What’s exciting about Mappls MapmyIndia, as a home-grown indigenous deep tech digital products and platforms company, is that not just did we pioneer digital mapping in India since 1995, when there were no other digital maps available for the country, but back then, and even now, we’ve always built the most cutting-edge tech to build the most capable maps and empower our customers, users and developers with the most comprehensive and advanced solutions. Over the last 15 or so years, there have actually been many global and local players who have come into the mapping market, yet for some reason or the other, they haven’t sustained or maintained quality. On our side we have continuously innovated in our products and tech - already bringing and making the most advanced featured available into our 4D HD maps covering 360 RealViews and 3D drone and digital twin based maps, immersive views and RealVerses - and focused on solving the needs of Indian consumers and enterprises, and served customers and users with humility, passion and consistency, with a solid and sustainable business model to ensure and provide a long-term reliable mapping solution for customers and the country. 3) Here’s an explainer video of our maps, tech & APIs which focus on how developers, users and customers can leverage our solutions to get their needs solved in the best way. Do watch - you’ll be pleasantly surprised and happy at the offering. 4) To try out as a developer for yourself, visit We’re glad that tens of thousands of developers, and their hundreds of millions of users, benefit from Mappls MapmyIndia Maps & APIs everyday, using both our free plans and our commercial plans. Do try for your own needs as a developer. 5) In one sense, the quality and capability of Mappls MapmyIndia is proven to be better and more useful and valuable through our free consumer Mappls MapmyIndia app (learn more and download from which has gotten love from millions of consumers who are able to navigate safer and better. Lucas Crespo (Lucas Crespo 📧 ) is the mastermind behind Every 📧 's visual vibe—and he does it one prompt at a time. As our creative lead, Lucas uses tools like native image gen in ChatGPT and Midjourney to generate the cover images you see every day. He also designs the interfaces for our products—Cora, Spiral, and Sparkle—and makes everything on our site feel as thoughtful and delightful as possible. We get into: - Why Every’s aesthetic feels familiar and new at the same time. Every’s aesthetic plays with the tension between the old (like Greek statues and Baroque symbols) and the new (like saturated colors and modern motifs) to make the glamor of the past feel fresh. - Art direction matters more than ever today. As AI makes it easier to generate images, Lucas says the real work of design is shifting toward art direction, specifically, curating an aesthetic that feels “organic;” on his X timeline that’s showing up as clouds, earthy landscapes, and textures. - Reimagining what a website can be with AI. Lucas compares most websites to identical buildings—predictable, efficient, and forgettable—and wonders how AI can help us break that mold by designing experiences that prioritize serendipity over speed, and curiosity over control. - Behind the scenes of Cora’s visual aesthetic. How Lucas designed the landing page and launch video for Cora by rooting it in the product’s philosophy: turning the inbox from a source of chaos into something that feels calm, thoughtful—like stepping into spring. - The future of internet interfaces. Lucas believes the future of digital interfaces will be curated with the same care as a film set or ad campaign, where every detail is chosen with intention. Lucas also walks us through how he created the headline image for Every’s consulting page—a human and robotic hand fist-bumping—using Midjourney to iterate from rough prompt to polished visual. This is a must watch for anyone interested in the future of design and making the internet a little more beautiful every day. Watch below! Timestamps: 1. Introduction: 00:01:41 2. How AI changed the course of Lucas’s career: 00:04:02 3. Why Every’s aesthetic feels both familiar and fresh: 00:11:38 4. Why Lucas thinks minimalism is overrated: 00:16:19 5. I’ve finally applied #ViduQ3 to a narrative project for SquadBlast . It handles action sequences and explosions with a level of consistency I hadn’t seen before. I achieved camera movements I’ve had in mind for a long time that other models simply wouldn't allow me to implement. The Start-end frame option generates high-quality animations with great control, provided you choose the points wisely and give the model enough time to generate the full movement fluidly. Grok surprised me with its iteration speed. I use it to bring dynamism to establishing shots and dialogue scenes that require quick corrections. If the scene needs movement, it’s my first choice. For more paced scenes or dialogues in wide shots, I prefer Sora 2. It is better suited for maintaining character style in distant shots, where Grok tends to struggle. The music was created in Suno (Industrial Tech-Step). I was looking for a sense of movement through minor-key synth arpeggios and extreme reverb. The "Studio" feature allowed me to precisely control the intro length and the exact point where the kick hits. Finally, a huge thanks to Framer 🇱🇹 for the amazing work on Cartoon Hero and for helping me connect with the professional world, and to OscarAI for his SREFs. I didn't have much time to develop the art style from scratch, so I used one of the SREF he shares. It fit perfectly with the bluish palette and the Otomo-inspired retro sci-fi style I was aiming for. It easily saved me a full day of work. IF ANYONE HAS ANY TECHNICAL KNOW-HOW QUESTIONS RELATED TO ANY SEQUENCE FEEL FREE TO ASK IN THE COMMENTS.

OpenAI released Sora 2, their new state of the art video and audio generation model, calling it the GPT-3.5 moment for video - The model generates videos up to 10 seconds long (default 9:16 vertical) with synchronized audio including difficult physics simulations, where mistakes the model makes frequently appear to be mistakes of the internal agent that Sora 2 is implicitly modeling rather than physics-breaking errors - Cameos let users record a short one-time video-and-audio capture where they read a verification phrase, then the model can insert them into any Sora-generated environment with accurate appearance and voice, where only they decide who can use their cameo and they can revoke access or remove any video that includes it at any time including drafts created by other people - The app functions as a social iOS platform not optimized for time spent but explicitly designed to maximize creation not consumption, heavily favoring content from people you follow or interact with and videos the model thinks will inspire your own creations, with features like remixing other posts and direct messaging to share videos privately - Safety measures include limited invitation rollout, restricting image uploads that feature a photorealistic person, blocking all video uploads, no video-to-video transformation at launch, stricter safeguards for minors with default scroll limits, C2PA metadata and visible watermarks on all outputs, and evaluations showing 95.1-99.7% effectiveness at blocking unsafe content - Initial rollout covers the US and Canada with plans to expand while the UK, EU, and Australia are not included at launch, available for free with generous limits though subject to compute constraints with the only planned monetization being optional payment for extra videos if demand exceeds compute, ChatGPT Pro users get access to higher quality Sora 2 Pro model and API release planned for future

A Letter from a Chinese Supporter and Believer in the Ecosystem Dear Unipcs (aka 'Bonk Guy') 🎒, Tom, and the team, First off, thank you for even taking the time to read this. I know your inbox must be overflowing while you’re in the middle of fighting off all the paid FUD campaigns aimed at and the ecosystem. I’m writing not to complain, but to shine a light on one of the most passionate and genuine projects born in this community: QUBY. QUBY: A True CTO a Month In And Still Going Strong QUBY was CTO’d just a month ago, and since then it’s been carried forward by a group of passionate whales (myself included) inside the ecosystem. We top‑blasted QUBY not because it was easy, but because we believed in its potential and in the mission of to welcome and empower the Chinese community a community often overlooked in Web3 despite the huge role it plays. What makes QUBY different? • Daily, high‑quality content from hand‑drawn art to animations, made by the community out of love • Cultural roots QUBY is a beloved Chinese meme with generational recognition and over 5 billion downloads on WeChat • Community‑driven we even voluntarily sent 2% of the token supply to BonkGuy’s wallet to show our commitment • Zero KOL bundles no influencer handouts, no farming games, just pure conviction from top holders who believe in this narrative and this ecosystem This isn’t a KOL farm. It’s a true community takeover. And I can say honestly I’ve woken up every single day for the past month dedicated to helping this movement grow. You’ve Said It Yourself: PVE is the Future PVP will always exist, but if wants to build something that lasts beyond the flip meta, it needs projects that stick. And QUBY is sticky. Not because of hype or airdrops. Not because of some celebrity tweet. But because people genuinely care. That’s rare in this space. Support Shouldn’t Just Be Equal - It Should Flow Where It’s Earned We’re not here to chase a Chinese narrative or force it. We’re taking a piece of Chinese culture and sharing it through our team’s vision with art, creativity, and fun animations. Everyone has a little Quby inside them, and that’s why the character is so relatable. The meme is organic, not manufactured. At the same time, we fully believe that WeChat Doge deserves to be the flagship Chinese pick in the ecosystem. It has genuine Chinese dev backing, community interest, and support, with a native ticker that resonates. We’re not competing with them we actually support them. All we ask is that support doesn’t just pool at the top. Let it trickle down through the whole ecosystem especially to projects like QUBY that are growing organically, powered by passion and belief. The Bonk Ecosystem Needs Heroes: Let QUBY Be One of Them QUBY has already proven itself: • It thrives even through volatility • It inspires relentless content and even copycats (who can’t recreate the magic) • It bridges cultures Western users are literally translating posts just to join the Chinese meme scene has a rare chance to be more than a launchpad. It can be the cultural engine of Solana. But that means supporting not just the loudest projects, but the ones truly building community and culture. QUBY has earned that shot. And to be clear this isn’t about shilling one coin above the rest. It’s about recognizing the organic movements that prove culture matters. When BonkGuy signals belief in a project, the whole market pays attention. Liquidity follows. Communities feel validated. QUBY is ready. We’re here. And we’re not going anywhere. With respect and conviction in Hyung

WARNING: “We haven’t had problem in 15 years or more…at some point there will be forced reckoning.” A few weeks ago Fmr Goldman Sachs Chairman & CEO Lloyd Blankfein – a true titan of finance – joined The Master Investor Podcast and shared lessons from his life, including the American Dream, actionable career advice, what makes a great trader & lessons from the 2008 financial crisis with some worrying warnings for today. LESSONS FROM 2008: “If I was still managing the risk of a big institution today I'd be very, very concerned about something that could trigger [a blaze] and I think this is a good time to look for the spark. Could the spark be private equity? Could it be private credit? Could it be the price of oil suddenly doubling? It could be any of those things & the world might absorb that at any other time except we haven't had a problem in 15 years or more. At some point there'll be a forced reckoning.” ART OF GREAT TRADE: “Traders are a lot like good poker players. Over your life, statistically you're going to get the same amount of good hands & bad hands that anybody else will get but somehow the good poker player always wins and the poor poker player always loses. Why is that? One will play the cards better…get out of a bad position quicker and let his opportunity run in a good position. The future is very hard to identify, but I noticed the people who are very good traders are the people who react the quickest to changes.” CAREER ADVICE: “In order to do a good job, you need the enthusiastic support of the people who are your subordinates. I didn't always make myself so friendly to the people around me. If I'd known I was going to grow so senior in the firm, I would've been a lot nicer to people on the way up because then I would've had to spend much less of my time apologising to them. Once I got to those positions, I needed their support as I moved up the letterhead.” Timestamps: 0:00 Intro 2:49 The advantage of low expectations 5:10 Feeling insignificant 6:52 The American Dream 8:15 J. VEO 2 by Google DeepMind : MY CHEAT SHEET Alright, so after 500h-ish spent on VEO and giving birth to both "Kitsune" and "Banished", tons of people asked for a making-of. Instead, I decided to give you what I actually know of VEO 2 to this day. Please share! it's made to be spread around! 1/ If you're not using a LLM (Gemini, ChatGPT, whatever), you're doing it wrong. VEO 2 currently has a sweet spot when it comes to prompt length: too short is poor, too long drops information, action, description etc. I did a lot of back and forth to find my sweet spot, but once I got in a place I thought felt right, I used a LLM to help me keep my structure, length, and help me draft actions. I would then spent an extensive amount of time tweaking, iterating, removing words, changing order, adding others, but the draft would come from a LLM and a conversation I built and trained to understand what my structure looked like, what was a success, or a failure. I would also share the prompts working well for further reference, and sharing the failures also for further reference. This would ensure my LLM conversation became a true companion. 2/ Structure, structure, structure Structure is important. Each recipe is different but same as any GenAI text-to something, it looks like the "higher on the prompt has more weight" rule applies. So, in my case I would start by describing the aesthetics I am looking for, time of day, colors, mood, then move to camera, subject, action, and all the rest. Once again, you might have a different experience but what is important is to stick to whatever structure you have as you move forward. Keeping it organized also makes it easier to edit later. 3/ Only describe what you see in the frame If you have a character you want to keep consistent, but you want a close-up on the face for example, your reflex will be to describe the character from head to toe and then mention you want a close-up...It's not that simple. If I tell VEO I want a face close-up but then proceed to describe the character's feet, the close-up mention will be dropped by VEO... Once again, the LLM can help you in this by giving it the instruction to only describe what is in the frame. 4/ Patience Well, it can get costly to be patient, but even if you repeat the same structure, sometimes changing one word can still throw the entire thing out and totally change the aesthetics of your scene. It is by nature extremely consistent if you conserve most words, but sometimes it happens. In those situations, trace your steps back and try to figure out which words are triggering a larger change. 5/ Documenting When I started "Kitsune" (and did the same for all others), the first thing I did was start a Figjam file so I could save the successful prompts and come back to them for future reference. Why Figjam? So I could also upload 1 to 4 generations from this prompt, and browse through them in the future. 6/ VEO is the Midjourney of video Currently, no text-to-video tool (Minimax being the closest behind) gave me a feeling I could provide strong art directions and actually get them. I have been a designer for nearly 20 years, and art direction to me has been one of the strongest foundations of most of my work. Dark, light, happy, sad, colorful or not, it doesn't matter as long as you have a point of view and please...have a point of view. Recently watched a great video about the slow death of art direction in film (link in comments) and oh boy, did VEO 2 deliver on giving me the feeling I was listened. Try starting your prompts with different kinds of medium (watercolor for example), the mood you are trying to achieve, the kind of lighting you want, the dust in the rays of light, etc... which gets me to the next one 7/ You can direct your colors in VEO It's as simple as mentioning the hues you want to have in the final result, in which quantity, and where. When I direct shots, I am constantly describing colors for two reasons: 1. Well, having a point of view and 2. reaching better consistency through text-to-video. If I have a strong and consistent mood but my character is slightly different because of text-to-video, the impact won't be dramatic because a strong art direction helps a lot with consistency. 8/ Describe your life away Some people asked me how I achieved a good consistency between shots knowing it's only text-to-video and the answer is simple: I describe my characters, their unique traits, their clothing, their haircut, etc..anything which could help someone visually impaired have a very precise mental representation of the subject. 9/ But don't describe too much either... It would be magical if you could stuff 3000 words in the window and have exactly what you asked for, right? Well, it turns out VEO is amazing with its prompt adherence, but there is always a moment where it starts dropping animations or visual elements when your prompt stretches for a tad too long. This actually happens way before the character limit allowed by VEO is reached, so don't overdo it, it's no use and will play against the results. For info, 200-250 words seems like a sweet spot! 10/ Natural movements but... VEO is great with natural movements and this is also one of the reasons why I used it so extensively: people walking don't walk in slow-motion. That being said, don't try to be too ambitious on some of the expected movements: multiple camera movements won't work, full 360 revolutions around a subject won't work, anime-style crazy camera movements won't work, etc... what it can do is already great, but there are still some limitations...

Check out our latest #Earth2 #creation the #MotorwayMarauder🌍✌️From #ConceptArt to #gameready, gives me #MadMax & #Terminator vibes - love it! Some #IMPORTANT things to remember about #Earth2 #drops leading up to #E2V1👇 1⃣Acquiring #skins is completely optional 2⃣ Notably, the #skins we drop leading up to the #E2V1 release will more likely have a ‘Limited Supply’, something that rewards our early supporters with increased rarity. These Limited Supply drops will become less frequent in the future being replaced with drops of unlimited supply but restricted availability requiring Players to wait for a skin to become available in the skin store or hope to acquire it via game play inside #E2V1 3⃣ Our goal is not to have these early #skin drops sell out during their maiden release, but rather provide an opportunity for our early supporters to secure skins they like at a discounted price with the welcoming guarantee of an all time Limited Supply. 4⃣ Most of the early #skin drops will naturally allow #Players to resell them, but importantly many will also be assigned with a once ever discount rate. #Skins that have Future Price Reduction assigned with “No” means that if the #skin does not sell out on its maiden drop and subsequently gets listed in store again at a future date, #Earth2 will never resell that #skin at any discounted rate. 5⃣ #Earth2 is building a modular clothing system, meaning that most items of clothing, especially if sold separately, will be interchangeable on avatars making them more useful and giving the #Player more ways to mix up their outfits, look the part & express themselves. 6⃣ The version of the skin you see in store is the base version you receive with the skin, however, there will also be opportunities to tailor outfits in game allowing for the adjustment in fabrics, prints, colours and more (be prepared for a little legwork though, unless you want to take your clothing items to another #Player who specialises in tailoring). 7⃣ #Earth2 is proud to have uniquely designed the #skins you listed in our store & it is important to remember that these #skins are the end result of a long and stringent internal character pipeline we have developed. Each skin starts from concept art which is reviewed and iterated on numerous times before being approved. Once approval is given, it is handed to our 3D modelling team for sculpting into high poly, then low poly, while receiving numerous reviews and adhering to our pipeline protocols. When the low poly version is finished, the 3D team then finishes with UV mapping and texture baking and runs their own QA process. Once the entire 3D sculpting process is approved, the models enter the skinning, rigging and weight painting process and are then passed to the animation team for further testing with various animations and another set of QA such as minimising clipping and identifying any other potential flaws in the model. The model then needs to go through the final process with a game developer to ensure it passed the final tests and is game ready for #E2V1. 8⃣ The above steps only represent a light explanation of our character and clothing pipeline, but as you can see we’re not simply selling static concept art images or a high poly 3D model that lacks any kind of optimisations resulting in little chance of it ever being game ready in its advertised state - there is a lot of work that takes place in order to get these skins to the stage our #Players see them in the video footage. Each skin sold helps support different parts of the development of Earth 2 providing us with new opportunities to further expand our team, speed up development and keep stepping closer to our short and long term goals for #E2V1 and #Earth2. 9⃣ We understand that fashion will become a big part of the #Metaverse, but we want to remind people that while some #Players may decide to set rules for certain skins being required for access or a ticket to entry under certain circumstances, from #Earth2’s perspective these skins are for cosmetic purposes only. 🔟 These skin drops also give #Earth2 the chance to show off our ability and versatility in avatar creation and accessories so even if you’re not keen on picking up a skin, remember to have fun and simply enjoy the progress! Also take heart every time you see a #skindrop, if the #E2V1 pre-alpha was not launching this year I wouldn't be dropping skins. We want to have at least some diversity for #avatars inside #E2V1 from the early stages! #Earth2 #Metaverse #Skins #Fashion #Collectibles #3DWorld #WIP #prealpha2024
