Oh I actually just checked, this piece took around 61 hrs+ (I sketched the composition and set up the models in a separate file.) 🥹

I personally spend quite a lot of time figuring out the colors, lighting, and composition, but once everything clicks, the rendering part is really fun. Wishing you the best with your style shift! And if you’re curious about anything, feel free to ask! 🤗💖✨

Abt the lineart I used to just do a rough sketch and paint over everything, because if I made clean lineart I’d feel bad overpainting it lol. But lately I found that cleaning it up a bit actually helps me see the shapes better.

I didn’t really track the time, but probably around 10+ hrs! (And you’re very welcome!! 🥰)
