Artemis II doesn’t reverse direction. Far out, its motion is mostly radial (toward Earth), so its small eastward speed is slower than Earth’s rotation, so it appears to drift west. Closer in, tangential speed grows and overtakes Earth’s rotation, so it moves east.

The car is limited and can not reach its advertised charging speed, I'm in talks with the Zeekr engineers. Still fun to see it beat its 10-80% time, and especially doing so on Teslas home turf. It is literally 3 times faster than a LR Tesla.

WOW, that was close. 🌪 This footage from our GVSU Allendale camera shows just how close a tornado came to forming. It's in fast motion so the rotation is easier to see. The cloud lowerings are unlikely to have been a touchdown... but it doesn't get much closer than that.
