It's incredible that we can do this.

In sci-fi, a space ship is a bit like a car. You take it out for a spin, go and look at an interesting asteroid, orbit a planet a few times, maybe rescue someone, then back for a blue drink. The reality is much less practical.

Now remember folks, someone had to calculate how much poop is going to be stored on Artemis II during that trip. Did you pass that much maths in your dumb f*** school?

Why earth not moving

We all can do that on a computer. Where is the camera filming a live stream on the spacecraft? So we ALL can see the earth and the moon.

Why not a tangential trajectory that would allow more time of Artemis in close proximity of the moon? @grok: what do you know about this mission objectives and the decision making process that led to them?

what is the sensitivity of this trajectory to errors in velocity, location or timing? it seems like a pretty carefully planned event that’s difficult to make happen so it works just right
