Something needs to change. And soon. The young lady is wrongly blaming President Trump. The real villain in this healthcare saga is UnitedHealthcare. How can we realistically expect a for-profit insurance company to consistently do the right thing? It is in their financial interest to deny claims first and only approve them later if there's sufficient public backlash. The sad reality is that most denials stand because patients simply don't have the time, energy, or money to fight these powerful companies.

should pass regulations that forbid the use of ALL AI in making Healthcare decisions. Diagnoses - quickly, efficiently examining data and looking for trends or outliers - is fine. But AI making actual healthcare DECISIONS, of any kind, should be forbidden. This should ALWAYS be a HUMAN decision.

This is the same thing with job applicants AI is not okay to use. Unfair to job applicants. This is so horrendous. @UHC you need to do better. This is exactly why your CEO was murdered is because of the pain and suffering you cause others. It is disgusting. I had sleep apnea and they denied me a sleep study several times as I didn’t have the morbidities. I did have sleep apnea and fell asleep at my desk every 5 mins. I lost my job. They finally let me have it and actually ended up needing a bi pap machine. I could have kept my job and not had such a hard time. I fell asleep at the wheel. It was such a mess. So I feel her pain as far worse situation. Ai is not human and should not be used for this. They should not have murdered the ceo of UHC but this has to stop. This is not a free health insurance I pay for it and my employer pays for it.
