AI isn't intelligent. Anyone who has ever used Chat GPT knows that. It is predictive text. What it lacks is intelligence, creativity and empathy. All of which make human beings intelligent. Moreover it is parasitic on human intelligence, which are its only inputs.

Clickbait manufactured mania. Not a real concern to anyone that's used chatgpt. Only real issue is use of AI in drones and military equipment when it comes to culpability and wanton destruction (but not like this isn't already an issue with manned equipment).

Surely at the moment it’s impossible to imagine the danger of AI as anything other than its use by capitalism to maximise profit and extraction, and minimise democracy, redistribution of wealth and income, and protest. All wrapped up in pretty gift paper.
