Let me explain Opossums (especially Virginia opossums) are highly resistant to pit viper venoms (rattlesnakes, copperheads, cottonmouths). The resistance comes from a protein in their blood serum called Lethal Toxin-Neutralizing Factor (LTNF). What the LTNF does is to first of all bind to the sites that the venoms are supposed to bind to, in order to have effect. Some parts of the LTNF also bind to some parts of the venom in order to make it inactive. Due to this, the opposum's body is able to bind and render venom toxins inactive before it does any damage. Since there's no damage, the opposum then goes for the snake's head and the rest in history. The small peptide that's responsible for the actions of LTNF is now being developed as a cheap, heat-stable antivenom alternative for human use.

i spent 4 dollars to make this post Akali 3H single routing structure with positioning optimizations these range from bnb territory to psychotic, but mainly putting together as an example for combo limits / optimization adjustments on the fly. You can always 2 hit walljump / do single hit jM to reduce some length and maintain the routing if combo time is a concern. For the third and fourth combos, there are 2 versions - one that optimizes for limit strike damage / combo time, and one that sends in extra air normals for 5s2 oki. Just posted both as an example, but routing like this also helps bridge the gap on 5s2 damage if you'd like to use that. Notes: 1) Corner to corner, keep in mind extra normals will increase the pushback and leave you closer to corner by the end, reducing frame adv from the tumble. 2) Nearing corner (starting about 75% of the stage away) adjustment on the ender for when the tumble has less frame adv, just cram in more air normals and save your double jump. 3) Here's where you'll start to see corner adjustments - round start position, this ends up being the starter for max damage midscreen, but if you were to reach the corner after the apex of your second jump loop arc, you can squeeze in extra minimum damage for a notable increase. Fortunately also maximizes corner carry while pushing damage. 4) In corner route. Stupid hard wrt combo time, just posting as an example of combo limits. you can probably just opt for above, but it does get an extra min damage source in. Alternatively, learn an easier combo lol. Have similarly structured stuff for 2H, will probably get to it later.

Will you get up for early AM lifts and not just drag yourself there but arrive happy and energized, eager to work and motivate your teammates? 2. Are you ready to miss family events—weddings, birthdays and be separated from your parents for longer than you ever have before? 3. Can you manage every aspect of your life for the first time by yourself, before you even throw in the rigors and demands of a sport? 4. Can you survive in an environment where you are defined by your sport and have very little social life existence outside of athletic and academic obligations? 5. Can you handle the mental challenge of going from the super star to possibly bottom of the roster, sitting on the bench, and/or not traveling with the team? 6. Will you be genuinely happy for your roommate who is getting all the playing time and attention while you’re getting none? If all answers are a resounding YES than you are built for this, but it’s not for everyone. And actually not for most. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. Apparently, I saw this video online and I decided to share. What this worker is applying is called bitumen, or what many of us know as bituminous coating. Most people think a wall is a solid, impenetrable block, but in reality, it is more like a sponge. Concrete and blocks have microscopic pores that pull water from the earth through a process we call capillary action. This thick black substance is the shield that stops that water from climbing up into the house. It is not about making the wall look good because this part will be buried under the dirt forever. It is about creating a skin that water cannot breathe through. When do you need to do this? The need for this arises because the soil is a very aggressive environment. Water is not your only enemy.. The ground also contains salts and sulfates that want to eat away at the cement. If this moisture finds its way to the steel bars inside the columns, those bars will start to rust. And when steel rusts, it expands, and that expansion is what cracks the concrete from the inside out. This coating is the only thing standing between your foundation and that kind of slow destruction. Thats is why if you see wet patches at the bottom of your walls inside your house, it usually means someone skipped this step or did it poorly during construction. You can apply this anytime you are building parts of a structure that will stay in contact with the ground. It is common in areas where the water table is high or where the soil stays damp for most of the year. This is a one-shot opportunity. Once you backfill the soil, you can never go back to fix it without a lot of expense and a lot of digging. It is about having the foresight to protect the heart of the building while it is still exposed. Please don’t ignore this if you need to. If you ignore it now to save a bit of money, you will be funding the future decay of your own home. I hope this helps.

As your little one grows, their physical (or “motor”) development happens on two interrelated planes: “Gross motor” development relates to the use of large muscle groups in the arms, legs and core used to balance, crawl, walk and jump (to name a few). And “fine motor” development describes the development of the small and precise muscle movements needed to manipulate your hands, wrists, fingers, feet, and toes. Both categories take time and practice to develop, with fine motor skills tending to trail gross motor skills in their refinement. Which makes sense. Fine motor skills are all about precision. Which leads us to this sweet little guy, who wants to celebrate by flashing a thumbs up to his mom and dad… but requires a little extra time and effort to get his thumbs to cooperate. Fine motor skills are critical to writing/drawing, the use of scissors, and the manipulation of things like buttons and zippers, just to name a few. You can help aid this development by providing lots of safe opportunities for your little one to practice strengthening the muscles of the hands and wrists, for example. Finger paint, crayons, play-doh, and eating utensils are all great options. Anything that will engage these small muscle groups. You’re on a journey on this kind of lonely road with your car and your car suddenly develops a fault, You can’t call for help and your lines can’t be reached due to network issues, what do you do? Except the car will stop and the engine won’t come up again, please reduce your speed and accelerate softly till you get to a nearby town, if it is an overheating issue, keep driving, put the gear in the neutral position and switch off the engine and let the car keep moving, switch it back on when you have to ascend a hilly road and the car can’t move freely on its own again. If the battery signal comes up while driving, chances are that your alternator has failed, or the alternator belt is damaged, apply the same method and switch off your AC, radio system or anything that may drain the battery while driving till you get to a safe place. If it is a flat tyre, maintain a low speed till you get to a safe place to change and use your spare, keep moving. Yes!!! Damage that tyre till you get to a safe place, just keep moving and make sure you have a spare tyre always and it is in a good condition. If the engine suddenly goes off on top speed, chances are that a fuse is damaged and this is why I will make a thread on how to identify different fuses and how to have them fixed temporarily in case of Emergencies. If your car jerks or experiences a lazy movement while driving, it’s likely to be a fuel related issue, fuel pump most likely, switch off the engine intermittently and put the gear in Neutral position, keep moving… if the fuel pump rests for about 5mins, it’ll pick up back when you ignite the engine, this will/may at least take you to a safe place or where you can have access to network to make calls. If you hear strange sounds like knocking sounds or the oil signal starts to blink, relax and reduce your speed, keep moving. Manage it till you get to a safe place or can have access to network. If your gear/transmission system isn’t selecting well, apply the same method, reduce your speed but keep moving, slow movement is better than no movement, your life and safety matters a lot. Please note that there are some Mechanical issues that nothing can solve on the road except patience and just to pray to God for safety and help, for example, you run into a pothole unknowingly and the oil pan hits the road and your engine or gear oil leaks away, or your ball joint or tie rod head pulls out, I’ll suggest you leave the car there, roll up your windows and lock up the car and start trekking till you get network or help, staying with the car may make you vulnerable to attacks or attract unexpected company, just keep walking away from the car for safety. Most importantly, please stay safe and be conscious of your environment. Be friendly with your Mechanic too or any Mechanic you see on the road. Don’t manage faults in cars and risk traveling with it.

When will my child understand the concept of privacy? As newborns, babies are highly dependent on their mothers (in particular) for feeding, comfort, and companionship - so much so that many believe they see themselves and their mothers as part of a single inseparable unit. As they grow, it probably shouldn’t come as a surprise then that the concept of privacy - that mom or dad might actually need a moment to themselves to shower or use the bathroom, for example - is one that takes a little getting used to. This is an age where separation anxiety can be very real for many children. And let’s face it, toddlers also require careful supervision, making the need for time apart especially challenging. So how do you get from Point A to Point B, transitioning from full togetherness to brief/safe periods of privacy? The answer is: gradually. Recognize that early in toddlerhood you may need to bring your baby along, even on certain trips to the bathroom to ensure their own safety. Consider these visits opportunities to begin advancing potty training concepts. The gradual introduction of boundaries, however, is something you can begin early, by extending and naming/explaining this courtesy to your child. Start small. Maybe it’s initially just a few seconds of privacy that you provide first to THEM. Rest assured that this period will soon intersect with your toddler’s own growing (and often fierce) sense of independence - and desire to do things for themselves and on their own. I particularly love this video, posted to TT by michaeleanstewart, because it shows her daughter in a transitional phase of understanding.
