As I said recently during a talkshow; whether you're educated or not, rich or poor, elite or ghetto, lawyer or musician, we're all stakeholders in the quest to better our Country. Everyone has a contribution to make. No one has a monopoly over this quest, infact, those who think they have a monopoly have turned out to be the problem over the years! Whoever you are, whatever you are, no one should stop you from playing your part in making Uganda a better Country.

As I said recently during a talkshow; whether you're educated or not, rich or poor, elite or ghetto, lawyer or musician, we're all stakeholders in the quest to better our Country. Everyone has a contribution to make. No one has a monopoly over this quest, infact, those who think they have a monopoly have turned out to be the problem over the years! Whoever you are, whatever you are, no one should stop you from playing your part in making Uganda a better Country.

Dear Neha It was extremely disappointing seeing you support AAP. Many of us supported you because we saw AISA as separate from CJP and AAP. It is surprising that an articulate person like you has not done enough homework on RSS links of AAP. So attaching a few videos and pics here to remind everyone about AAP. Video 1 - Kejriwal himself admits that RSS played an important role in the Anna Andolan Video 2 - Ashutosh, a founding member of AAP, also admits there were RSS members in AAP and some even became AAP MLAs. Pic 1 - Kejriwal is sitting next to KN Govindacharya, an RSS ideologue who said that Kejriwal had approached him during Anna Andolan Pic 2 - Kejriwal with the infamous Anna Hazare, a known RSS karyakarta. RSS is like a hydra-headed monster that is today operating on several rungs of the present govt and even has sympathisers within the Opposition. So it's rather naive to say you are fighting BJP and RSS with the help of AAP. Hope this helps you get a better perspective on how RSS operates.

Just a day after Arvind Kejriwal claimed that AAP workers in Gujarat were receiving “Intelligence Bureau verification” calls, the police revealed that the calls were allegedly made by AAP worker Nitin Dobariya on the instructions of Vadodara AAP chief Ashok Ojha. The entire narrative has now come under serious question. This also raises important questions in Punjab. Four years ago, under the banner of “Operation Lotus,” similar allegations were made, followed by a special one-day Assembly session and formal complaints lodged with the DGP Punjab Police by 15-20 MLAs, including Finance Minister Adv Harpal Singh Cheema. Punjabis deserve to know what became of that investigation. If such serious allegations were made, where are the findings? The truth behind those claims should also be placed before the people of Punjab.

One of his ads that he posted under the pseudonym “Ricky Vaughn,” read: “Avoid the line. Vote from home. Text ‘Hillary’ to 59925.” A group he was a part of also used other misleading means to allegedly try and trick voters into not voting in the election. He was also publicly supported by Marjorie Taylor Greene, Tucker Carlson and others.

#WATCH | Patna, Bihar | On the protest over the reservation at Jantar Mantar, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi says, "The debate that is going on is not a spontaneous debate. In 2024, the Supreme Court unanimously gave a suggestion, a decision that if a state wishes, it can also divide a sub-quota within the Scheduled Caste quota. In this regard, many states of India have discussed sub-quotas within quotas. The benefit of this is that the benefit of the quota in Scheduled Castes, which some sections of people have been taking for many years, is that 90% of the posts are held by those same people, and those who are from the lower strata in terms of economic and educational perspective are limited to only 10%. An example is Punjab. In Punjab, when there was no division, there were 7-8 castes in Class 1, which were taking 95% of the benefit, but when the division happened, those castes were reduced to 45%. Those who were not getting the benefit started getting it. In Bihar too, Dalit and Mahadalit classes were formed... There should be a division in reservation in accordance with the Supreme Court order, so that those people from the lower strata who could not avail the benefit of reservation can get the benefit..."

THIS SHOULD'VE BEEN DONE LONG AGO TO ALLOW BENEFITS OF RESERVATIONS TO THOSE WHO REALLY NEED IT! SC seeks response from Centre on ‘creamy layer’ in SC/ST quota. Plea argues that once a family member attains a Govt or Constitutional post, their children should not keep availing quota benefits. I can give 3 examples right here on how benefits of reservations are availed by those who are no-more oppressed or without access to resources to studies. Father → Kids 1. Jaswant Dabi (ITS officer, Group A central service) → Tina Dabi (IAS, 2015 batch) and Ria Dabi (IAS, 2020 batch)— Family availed ST reservation benefits. 2. Uttam Khobragade (IAS, 1984 batch) → Devyani Khobragade (IFS, 1999 batch) — Both availed SC reservation. 3. Sanwar Mal Verma (Promotee IAS, Rajasthan cadre) → Kanishak Kataria (IAS, 2018 batch) — Family from SC category; son topped on merit but eligible under SC framework. These are just 3 examples. There may be many. Now SC has asked Centre and States to reply to a petition seeking creamy layer application in SC/ST reservations. Question is: 'Are reservations being cornered by a few families across generations who have become affluent enough not to need those reservation benefits? Isn't it an injustice with those from humble background who really don't have free access to resources'. Good that finally this issue is being raised.

Sanwar Mal Verma (Promotee IAS, Rajasthan cadre) → Kanishak Kataria (IAS, 2018 batch) — Family from SC category; son topped on merit but eligible under SC framework. These are just 3 examples. There may be many. Now SC has asked Centre and States to reply to a petition seeking creamy layer application in SC/ST reservations. Question is: 'Are reservations being cornered by a few families across generations who have become affluent enough not to need those reservation benefits? Isn't it an injustice with those from humble background who really don't have free access to resources'. Good that finally this issue is being raised.
