Arvinda De Silva vs Brett Lee in 2003 World Cup

De silva ranatunga jayasuriya atapattu Murali क्या खतरनाक team थी

jaysurya ball se bhi khtarnak thaa

Treated him like Ashok Dinda

Hitting Brett Lee like that he was ahead of his competition

The best version of Arvind D'Silva was showcased in the 1996 World Cup Final match.

Mad Max, my fav SL batsman. The most stylish batsman from SL with a silky touch. And SL lost quick wickets in this game, but Aravinda kept going. Always played the likes of Wasim and other fast bowlers with aplomb. 96 WC semis vs India, another gem under great pressure.

Nightmare for india and australia. Only sri lanka was able to win against australia comfortably at that time

He played very slow jn that match due to 4/5 wickets down in just 20-30 runs. He was hit by a bouncer.. This was the last over of Lee and he took a little revenge.. But yet I guess Lankans were less than 200 runs

Personally found him the second most aesthetic batsmen in the 90s ofcourse second to only Tendulkar

Mad Max 😍

Mad Max Silva.. The OG of Sri Lankan cricket

That effortless clip off the hip was the shot of the tournament..,.

He was really good. There was a time frame when it was difficult to beat him forget about getting out.

Yes...arvind kalu ranatunga atapaatu jayasurya....teams are scared of playing with srilanka at that period

No one talks about arvinda, attapattu, jaysurya, rantunga, sanga , jaya, ........ guys they need there due appreciation. Just see the talent and shots and brilliance in there batting. Just wow..👍 @ArvindaDisilva @KumarSanga2 @Sanath07 @MahelaJay @ArjunaRanatunga

Only legends will know what a frickin good player he was, ab to sab average, no of 100s dekhte hai 😂, Mad Max 🫵 blud was one heck of a tough dog to get out

When in full flow, Aravinda D'Silva was a delight to watch

Unsung hero of SL

Aravinda de Silva was very technically strong batter.

He was special ..

1st two balls were bowled by Andy Bichel ! 🤣

The real coaches.

OG MadmaX

Yes , a great batsman , it's possible the 1990 era will come back ?

Clean hitter, if he was born in india he would be a Goat

He loved that pick up pull didn’t he

One of my most favourite cricketer

And this was De Silva way way way past his prime. What a player

Mad max!! Still hurts his knock at Eden Gardens 🥹

One of the best we saw playing...respect

Brett Lee ne Tendya ki bahut baar lee hai na...isliye is chutiye ko Arvinda De Silva bahut yaad aata hai...

His ability to pick length early was stupendous.

Freak he had so much time to hit him around so effortlessly.

Belt treatment
