Jolene had planned to end her life through Canada’s MAID program because she couldn’t get the surgery she needed after 8 years of incredible pain and loneliness. My team is working around the clock to bring to her the United States for that surgery. After talking about how SMN got their first win during the UFO promotions, they kept emphasizing that this is only the beginning for them. But then Sung Sikyung reminded us that this is already Hiichan’s third debut, and that she’s been in the industry for 12 years… It really made me think about Hiichan’s journey. She debuted in AKB at just 12 years old, but back then, she never really got close to senbatsu. So she challenged herself with PD48, successfully debuted with IZ*ONE, and finally got her name out there. After IZ*ONE ended, she returned to AKB, this time as a senbatsu member and eventually even a center. Then, as she approached her 10th year in the industry, instead of simply staying where she was already comfortable and established, she decided to challenge herself all over again, leaving her home in Japan, returning to Korea, and redebuting from scratch with SAY MY NAME. And she didn’t stop there. She continued working hard on her Korean, took the TOPIK exam and achieved Level 5, and even got a Korean driver’s license (though she got this right before IZ*ONE ended). It really feels like she didn’t just come back to Korea to redebut. She genuinely committed herself to building a new chapter of her life there. It’s been such a long and unusual journey for Hiichan. Every time she reached a new stage in her career, she somehow found the courage to challenge herself again rather than settle for what she had already achieved. I have so much respect for her hard work, courage, and growth over all these years. Truly admirable. And to think I’ve been supporting her for almost 8 years now… 🥹 It’s been quite a journey for me too...

This game never fails to make me cry. Dorothy never wanted revenge. She just wanted somebody to recognize her sacrifices for the Ark. She was heartbroken because she was abandoned. Her friends moved on, and she couldn’t. That's ok! It just shows how human she is, and how being so human brings out all of her flaws so naturally that it hits perfectly. She just needed headpats and praise. When I first read Ark Guardian, I saw all of her struggles. She was keeping it all together as the leader of the squad, and losing all of her precious people one by one broke her. The wound the Ark gave her was the last straw. I’m so happy I never lost faith in her. I knew she wasn’t meant to be a bad person, she’s a hero and will always be one. This chapter was so emotional as fuck. BURNINGUM IS THE TRUE MVP HERE.

Juliette Binoche was the only actor Krzysztof Kieślowski had in mind for the lead character in "Three Colours: Blue" (1993). He had said to Binoche's agent that he wouldn't do the movie if she wasn't part of it. Binoche rejected Steven Spielberg's offer to star in "Jurassic Park" (1993) because she felt the story of 'Blue' was close to her. Binoche had a friend who suffered a similar tragedy as her character in the movie. She had lost her kid and husband. Binoche had helped her recover from the loss. So, in a way, Binoche thought she had already prepared for the role in real life. The one important advice Kieślowski had for her was: “No tears. Never any tears". Initially, Binoche doubted if it would work. But as the filming continued, she understood the reasoning behind Kieślowski's words. P.S: On this day, 33 years ago, "Three Colours: Blue" (1993) premiered at the Telluride Film Festival, USA. I too agree with Kieślowski that no one else could have nailed the role as Binoche did. This is such a subtle performance and a masterclass on how to play a depressed character. I have made this video by compiling some of Binoche's best moments from the movie. I hope you enjoy it.

Melissa Hortman was only 55 years old. She had a lot more to do. It is so bitter and so sad that her life was taken - assassinated for fighting for what she believed in. It will now be up to us to carry on these fights. I will miss her leadership and her friendship as our state navigates these uncertain times. May the memory of Melissa and Mark be a blessing for all who knew and loved them.

When the doors to TV studio on This Morning opened up today and lovely Steff walked in Hope my heart absolutely melted. I remember chasing her for 2 weeks trying to catch her. Pulling the nail out of her with pliers. Her big machete wound. Her being totally shut down for weeks. Carrying her to the toilet in the jungle and waiting for an hour for her to go as she was so scared. All those things were distant memories. She was called Hope because she had absolutely none after being so badly abused. Zero. I dreamed one day she’d have it back. She absolutely does now. The tears came because they’d been asking me about beating addiction. Because of Hope proudly walking across a TV studio. It’s just a person and a dog having overcome their obstacles in life. They were tears of absolute happiness. I was proud of us both. 🥰🥰🥰
