As a kid I didn’t remember Batman being this stupid! 😂🤣👇🏻

Seems more legit than the shit Pedowood is producing today.

You will be questioned at the Pearly Gates for this post.

It was supposed to be corny and over the top. Everyone who ever guested the show said how much fun they always had.. cast n crew included. Sid Caesar who in an interview was laughing and going on about what a great opportunity it was. Fun show once in a life time opportunity.

The good thing about bat burgers, is they attract Batman and Robin as well as baseball players

60’s Batman mirrored the comic books at the time. They were very silly and not at all serious. It’s a guy in a bat costume that fights other people in silly costumes. It’s not supposed to be serious, and that’s why serious versions of Batman always seem a bit silly.

I actually have an Aunt who appeared on an episode of Batman. She also appeared on an episode of The Odd Couple (Oscar’s Ulcer). She was my mom’s little sister.

The show was for kids and families in the 60’s. Back then shows felt they had a responsibility to educate kids and families on good manners, morality and ethics. If you show kids how to behave, often they will mimic it.

That show was great .

it was never meant to be serious. grew up watching reruns.. Its corn ball, and even as kids we laughed about it, but we loved it! Watched some recently, and its even funnier now.

Batman was pure camp humor. Nothing like a genre that turns on itself to become its own parody. Great stuff. James Bond was originally campy, too. Names like Pussy Galore laid it on thick.

I loved it!

Those were the days - we all just bought in on what was put in front of us on the TV. LOL

Even as a kid, I knew this was retarded.

Lol. Orange aid is what they give prisoners...Pure West.

Oh, really? Check this:

Why do you think it took nearly 25yrs before TV and Movies would go anywhere Batman again..

I’m sorry, did you mistakenly type “stupid” instead of “awesome”?

Yes but it was a good show that taught right and wrong. No gray areas like today.

How dare you besmirch the awesomeness that is this show!

It was very 'corny' but great nevertheless!

Is that Rutger Hauer?

It was a kids show. Comics used to be for kids before adults started refusing to grow up and wanted to remain kids forever. That's also how we ended up with liberalism.

Medium rare hamburgers? 🤮🤮🤮 Enjoy your salmonella!

Oh yeah, I remember it being that stupid. Still watched:)

So that's where Covid came from.

Can something be so cringe, that it's not cringe?

Not stupid, campy

It was always camp... they were just having fun... Although... I still love that one where Batman and the Penguin run for office... just for the Penguin's speech...

Oh yeah, it was bad

I think they order a Batburger here!

It was very campy - the 1966 film played to the camp

Me either if you read the info on this series, they were touring with the car promotions and stuff and this dude was strait up out of control with the parties and stuff dude was like a Rockstar to the country especially women. 🤪 crazy when you watch how weird it seems today

Bat cringe.
