As a European, the thing that confused me about the whole weekend was the fact that more people seemed to be interested in heckling/cussing/trying to put the European golfers off, than there were people supporting their own team. Such an odd way to go about being a ‘fan’.

I think it’s inappropriate for a guy that’s not involved to apologize for USA (or say that he’s ashamed of Americans). I think that Bethpage did not manage the crowd properly and that THEY owe an apology to Ryder Cup for letting it get crazy
