Watch: Hamas’s fascists are continuing to say the quiet part out loud, which is that they specifically and deliberately worked to support the far-right in Israel, including Netanyahu, with their suicide bombings, actions, behavior, and agendas. One of the group's faces and spokesmen, Basem Naim, a fan favorite of Western leftists like Drop Site News, is making it clear that the terror group’s suicide bombings of 1996 specifically helped Netanyahu win the elections against Shimon Peres, who wanted to continue in the footsteps of the assassinated Yitzhak Rabin. Hamas specifically, purposefully, deliberately, and intentionally worked to empower extremism in Israel as part of a nihilistic, accelerationist point of view that sought to kill the prospect of peace, coexistence, and the two-state solution. This calculus has backfired horrendously, now that Israel controls the West Bank, the prospects of a Palestinian state are slim, and the Palestinian people and national project are in complete disarray. Not in defense of Israel whatsoever, but remember this whenever you hear pro-Hamas, anti-Israel propaganda: Hamas rejected peace; Hamas empowered settlers; Hamas fueled Netanyahu’s political life; Hamas caused Palestinian deaths; Hamas sabotaged Oslo and the 2005 opportunity following the withdrawal of Israeli settlements (disengagement) from Gaza; Hamas wasted billions and tens of thousands of lives on useless, ineffective terror strategies; Hamas radicalized elements of Palestinian society, in parallel with radicalizing masses of Israelis against the prospects of peace, coexistence, cooperation, and mutually-beneficial collaboration. There would be no far-right, no Ben Gvir, Smotrich, or the mass rightward shift in Israeli society and electoral politics without Hamas and the violence of the Second Intifada that was largely driven by Hamas. Remember that the next time that “pro-Palestine” propagandists sell you lies and deception to deny Palestinian agency and responsibility for the catastrophic conditions we’re all experiencing right now. Tragically, Hamas continues to be a cancer that has yet to be eradicated or defeated.
