@TaraBull808 I reject that premise. Halloween is harmless fun for children and adults. We have real issues in this country. No need to go looking for nonsense to be upset about.

@TaraBull808 It's good for Christians to celebrate Halloween. We are showing that death has no power over us.

@TaraBull808 People who tell me that Halloween is harmless haven’t listened to someone who used to walk in the satanic realm. The amount of human sacrifice that happens on Halloween is exponential. No matter how you try to mask it. It’s a day of celebrating with the one who rules this world.

Halloween originated from the Celtic festival of Samhain, celebrated over 2,000 years ago to mark the harvest's end and winter's start, when the boundary between the living and dead was believed to thin. Celts used bonfires, costumes, and offerings to ward off spirits. Roman conquests blended Samhain with their festivals, Feralia and Pomona. In the 7th century, the Christian Church moved All Saints’ Day to November 1st, with All Hallows’ Eve (Halloween) on October 31st, absorbing pagan traditions. Medieval practices like souling and guising evolved into trick-or-treating. Irish and Scottish immigrants brought Halloween to North America in the 19th century, where it became a community holiday with costumes and festivities.

@TaraBull808 No, you should not. You’re literally messing with and giving more power to demonic energy. It amazes me how many Christians still don’t understand this.

I don't "celebrate" it. However, I do give full size candy bars to the children that Trick or Treat and they also either get a bracelet with a Bible verse on it or a tiny Jesus figure that says"Jesus Loves You". That way I am planting seeds with each bar that is received and I can enjoy the costumes on the children.

@TaraBull808 Technically, no. Halloween, founded in Ireland, is a pagan ritual from the Celtic days of Merlin and the Druids. It was “assimilated” by the Catholic Church as they made it “All Hallow’s Eve” — the day before All Saints Day.

@TaraBull808 Your opening doors for demons to walk right in, even the founder of the church of satan thanked Christian’s for allowing their kids to celebrate Halloween

we don't anymore. A couple of years ago I felt very heavy hearted after trick-or-treating with my then 5 year old and 2 year old. It was just too scary. Yard decor and all of it has just gotten so crazy. The Holy Spirit moved in me and I just had to make the choice to stop. It's not about the candy anymore either. No knock knock, "Trick-orTreat" either since Covid. Most people have a table down at the bottom of their driveway or they leave a bowl out. When I explained to my daughter exactly why, she didn't cry or get upset. She agrees that it's too scary actually. She likes passing out the candy now, and we still go to a Trunk-or-Treat at church in order to dress up and get some candy with friends. It's working out fine and it's teaching my kids that we don't have to do what everyone else does. We listen to what the Holy Spirit puts on our hearts and we live to Glorify God and enjoy HIM.

@TaraBull808 It wasn’t always this way. It used to be fun and cute. We celebrate Halloween 🎃 but in a fun way, not demonic/evil. Here’s a pic of my Mother and me in the 70’s, back when things were chill.

@TaraBull808 I loved Halloween, always went all out for it.That changed last year when Jesus spoke to me. I was romanticizing it too much. I changed completely. I sold a lot of my decorations. Now I just do fall decor and some pumpkins. I’m totally different.

@TaraBull808 Aww, c'mon. It was so simple back in the day. My kid wanted to dress up like some character from Harry Potter and get some candy. And now it's a friggin' political position statement??? Jesus, just let us live our lives without crap!!

@TaraBull808 No, Christians should not celebrate Halloween. It’s a dangerous night that allows and invites evil spirits and demons to enter our realm and possess humanity. Just because you don’t believe it doesn’t make it untrue. Beware‼️🙏🏻

Bringing symbols of death, hell and the grave into your home or on your door or covering your child...is all invitation for the dark spirits to come in your home and on your child. Jesus defeated death, hell, the grave...why call it back to you? Halloween is not harmless but that's just what Satan has deceived people into believing. Witches use the whole month of October to start curses, incantations and spells going forth bc they know that many people love the darkness and to those who don't, they will focus on them.

Historical origins of Halloween, all hallows eve or Samhain do not celebrate "death". It is spiritually thought of as the time when the veil separating the living from the dead, is "thin" and the costumes and scary things are thought to protect the living by confusing evil spirits. There is nothing satanic about it. It is not celebrating evil but protecting from it. Strange how we ascribe evil to something that was originally meant to ward away evil. Today it's just a fun holiday. But honestly we need to ward off evil more now than ever. Don't take away the only holiday that is actually for protection from evil just because skeletons scare you.

Profilbild von Thomas Nicolai

@TaraBull808 Halloween is shortened from hallows Eve. We recognized the dead who passed in the last year. Evil people co-opted Halloween and made it a celebration of evil, but it didn't start that way.
