As cities develop & modernize, a lot gets lost Vasudevas are one such tribe who were regular earlier, now we get to rarely see them They roam in the morning through lanes and colonies singing Vithhal bhajans! Stop them from getting lost. If you find one, give them something :)

Yes. Do. They (Vasudevas, traditional bhajan singers in streets) have tremendous voice culture and their sangeeth bhajan is pretty good, and soaked in Bhakti!

Vasudevas, KadakLakshmi and Dombaris ( tight rope walkers) were integral part of our streets. Slowly disappearing. Same with Kalhaiwala, Salt vendors on bullock cart too.

Not Agree Mangalam…. M in Pune i have seen and i am witness that some people gathers outside suburb from main city changing their looks, cloths and become like saint…. I was going for morning run seen short pajama and beard people and when returning from run saw wtf

I remember in baroda there used a person coming every morning at 6am singing bhajans of Vithala for nearly 3 yrs & now I realise how I didn't do anything for him because that tune just came back due to ur post!
