I know people who know Danny very well and I know Carlisle. When men like Danny decide enough really is enough we will see that community come to life. Our phone are exploding with camps and people asking for food, and canned goods are nowhere to be found. Bakeries are closed as there is no more flour. Signs of famine are showing and if borders don’t open in a few days, people in Gaza will remain with nothing. And at this point no amount of donations will help, and protests will not be enough. As we look at Sila’s innocent face, we are fully of rage and fear. We are afraid for the further suffering that these children will have to endure. That everyone in Gaza will have to endure. Act now. Silence is not an option!
