Being from Odisha, when I moved to Gurgaon for the first time back in 2008, the dialect was a shock to me just like everyone. People think haryanvi is rude, it’s not. People are very accepting and the dialect has inherent humour in it. If people spend some time, understand it and they will fall in love with it, just like I did 😀 But on a serious note, the language wars are nothing but planned.
