I was one of the many who loved watching John Stapleton on TV. I grew up enjoying him be warm and witty and - later in life - I had the pleasure of bumping into him on various occasions and he was just as kind in the flesh. My thoughts are with his son Nick and his close friends this morning. It was so lovely to spend some time with him on Channel 5 News last October talking about his Parkinson’s. He was, as he always was, brilliant, intelligent and self-deprecating. There are some beautiful tributes to John in the papers today and he will be greatly missed.

I feel jealous of the people who witnessed Chiranjeevi on the big screen in the 80s and early 90s. ───────────────────────── I still remember my first #Chiranjeevi movie on the big screen — #Master (1997) at Devi 70MM, Hyderabad. All his earlier movies, I watched only on TV. As I grew up, I watched every movie of his till his last release.
