We shouldn’t have invited Afghanistan foreign minister as it is the country run by men who are against women, they stop girl child from studying, they deny healthcare to them and have put several restrictions. They failed to keep up with the norms of this country where we believe in gender justice. GoI should have taken this matter to them and have said that our women journalists will go to their PC and they should follow rules of our country. We condemn it, it’s injustice to all women of the country!

As a proud Angeleno, the fires that have devastated our county have been heart-breaking. I am so fortunate that while my own home in the Palisades was at risk and had some damage from the fires, I am safe. So many others cannot say the same, and my heart goes out to all of those who have been affected and are rebuilding their lives from ash. I wrote this poem, “Smoldering Dawn”, to process my own fears and prayers for us as we come together as a community to heal from this trauma. While we mourn what we have lost, we also give thanks to the first responders, firefighters and civilians who have fought so tirelessly to combat these fires and ensure the safety of so many. To honor them, I’m releasing this poem as a fundraiser for the California Fire Foundation, which is offering support and aid to firefighters families, as well as those who have been impacted by the fires. 💛 Give what you can, help who you can, stay safe, and this too we shall conquer.

We are in 2023, and we have a serious political party that wants to lead this country basically torturing its own citizens with brainwashing, lies and fabrications. I mentioned this on #TV3GH a few weeks ago. The NDC still think we are in 1992, they have no credible altenative for the people. They haven’t been able to tell the people, what they would do to improve their lives. Sad but that’s our political reality. Unfortunately when you try to keep them on the track of issues and facts, they will insult you crudely. As a country, this NDC party remains one of our biggest threat but our job as a credible altenative party is to continue to protect our people and not back out. We won’t stop, we will keep pushing and shaping the conversation till they learn from us. It’s a big task but we have to deal with our reality. NDC! what a party 🤦‍♂️

There are things that we can do about it, and we don’t, but for some reason as Americans we value something different. Thursday, the 28th November is Thanksgiving day in the U S A. Families will come together and celebrate the harvest and all the blessings of the year. It's also the time of year when people donate to charity and we wonder if any of our friends will remember the work that Ernestos does for the animals in war torn Syria? We have just had one of our worst months for fundraising, with the lowest donations we have seen for a long time. A little gift from our supporters means everything to our animals and to the lives of the 100s of animals we treat and help every day of the year. We want to continue to be there for them. To help as we have helped for the past 9 years. But first, we must make it through the winter months. Will you help us? We need fuel, we need food,we need medicines. But most of all, we need your kindness and your belief in what we do.
