People who follow along will know that from time to time I feature what I call Truth Matters Musical Moments. It’s a nod to my passion for music and two decades of working in recording studios in what I like to call mr reckless years. As a musician I miss those days as I reflect from time to time, but this clip reminded me of the joy of composition and scoring music. It’s an inspiring language that evokes a wide range of emotions, and I miss that. “He’s not taking it seriously” - tell that to the (much bigger) version of myself that I was a year ago. Listen; I’m just trying to be real. I’m not trying to make excuses, even if I have. This past month was hard for me, especially sharing it the way that I did. But regardless of that I’m not gonna let that low point or anyone on the internet take away from the progress that I’ve made over the YEARS of struggling and learning that I’ve gone through. I will never give up on this journey, I still plan to hit 399 by the end of April; I have a plan, I have a schedule, and I’m going to do my best to follow it. I apologize if this feels like giving attention directly to the negativity, but I felt like these thoughts / this response and the *hope* that I feel right now regarding my journey really need to be shared. I’m PROUD of what I’ve accomplished, even knowing I still have a long ways to go. I see the positive, I promise, and I’m sorry that I can’t always take the time to respond to more messages. #weightlossjourney

For the first time in like 6 years I sat in the first car I ever had. Good old 1997 Nissan Pathfinder. It smelled the exact same lmao I think its purpose in this visual was to highlight this remembrance of my journey and also operate as this bubble of peace and familiarity. The outside world felt/feels so chaotic and it’s hard for me to leave my comfort zone into the unknown and that’s the theme of this album and phase of my life. I think in that regard it’s telling that I never leave the car in this shot. Yes I’m tryna block out the noise but I need to be able to block out the noise while navigating through it, not just hiding from it.

UPDATE: Pete Z and I are half way finished filming the second NDIS video and we will hopefully have it out to you all by the end of April. I just want to thank everybody again so much for their support. This has been by far the most amount of support I have ever received for anything. I was plugging away at my political journalism and activism work for about 6 or 7 hours a day every day for 6 years with not much to show for it. There were dark times back in 2023 when I had literally $50 in my account and I had to ask my parents for loans to buy fuel for my car. Now for the first time in years I can actually live without financial stress. I’m able to finally make this my full time professional job. And I’m only able to do that because of the massive amount of support I’ve had from the public. Like 300,000 extra followers on all my accounts in just one month. Thank you so much everybody. I want to spend my life fighting for a better Australia and fighting for the future of the West. I feel so blessed that I finally have support, thank you so much.
