As I said yesterday, the Gardai decided that there had been enough protesting done, and shut down roads to block people from moving. This man was denied access to St Patrick's street to get food. This is unconstitutional. 🇮🇪

Yesterday, I went back down to ICE in Portland and had the opportunity to speak to Chandler Patey, the young man who is allowing his apartment to be used as a crash pad for antifa a block from the ICE building. I edited out other people speaking at their request.

Another update on tonight's mess. I phoned 311 to make a complaint about the noise and traffic disruption. They said that protests that obtain a permit are allowed to block traffic, but after looking it up, the 311 agent said that there had been no permits issued. Completely agree. This is the first sequence post goal featuring such things as "moving the ball at speed", "passing inside the block" and "two touches"... Where had that been all game! I think we wanted to 'make a statement' - and we've done that a few times this year with bad results imo

🇯🇵🇨🇳 A Chinese man in Japan gets angry at a sign which says "Dear Chinese people: all of our restaurant ingredients are from Fukushima". It makes him so enraged that he calls the police. The reason this sign was put up was because CCP propaganda often tells Chinese people that the water and food around Fukushima is polluted and by eating food from there you will die. This has been proven false. Unfortunately, the shop owner took down the sign which he never should have done. This man should have been deported immediately back to China.

Look, I think you know two million Pennsylvanians don’t have access to SNAP right now, don’t have access to food right now. Literally yesterday, as I was driving to a polling place in Philadelphia, I saw lines stretching three to four blocks long—and then around the corner—of people waiting in line for a pop-up food pantry just to be able to eat. A number of them had “I Voted” stickers on. Think about that. In Donald Trump’s America, people are going hungry because he shut down the government. And by the way, they’re going hungry in a country where we produce more than enough food for everyone to eat. So to your point earlier, you’ve got a president of the United States who’s gotten richer—and you’ve got a whole bunch of people who are worse off because of the chaos he’s inflicted. Think about that again. Driving to a polling place yesterday, people were showing up to vote against chaos and extremism, and they had to pass a pop-up food pantry where families were lined up around the block because Donald Trump took away their food stamps. This is the America we’re in. And thankfully, voters showed up here in Pennsylvania—and in many other states—and rejected that. They chose a better way.
