As long as your character doesn't have a ws+3+4 move, you can enhance your default ws+3 tracking with this method. And there's more out there.

Bryan ws+3 is another example, as he has no unique ws+3+4 move, ws+3's tracking is increased via ws+3+4

There are of course drawbacks, but you will have to lab the scenarios yourself, here a few ws+3,3 samples and ws+3+4 in the latter half. In addition it seems the full benefit comes from manually entering FC rather than after a move that leaves you in FC.

I remember this being a thing in T7 with some moves. Bryan's b+1 would have better tracking when inputted as b1+2 as long as you didn't have rage (cause that's rage drive) Weird that this exists at all

Yeah, it predates are far back as TTT2 if certain moves were tag buffered.
