Jill also wasn't seen or mention at all in Requiem yet she witnessed Raccoon City fall into chaos and barley escaped from its destruction.

Because Claire went to Raccoon City to find Chris and managed to save Sherry in the process. Leon went to Raccoon City to serve and protect and now he feels he failed to protect everyone - Kendo, Ben, Marvin and the whole city.

Leon was a cop... He witnessed a father shooting his own daughter, had to kill one of his fellow officers after he turned into a zombie, also witness another one of his fellow officers get split in half... I mean tf I wouldn't forget either

Leon taking the loss of Raccoon City so personally is like me watching the the million dollar mansion I has saved on Zillow get sold. It was never mine to lose in the first place. Theres no logical reason to mourn it as if it was.

I think maybe we're just over analyzing the game & it's characters at this point. Comparing two stellar characters trama seems unnecessary.

While both went through hell, Claire was not as affected as Leon. Leon had a whole new life waiting for him in Raccoon City, one where he thought he'd do something meaningful. It was ripped from him. Claire was just there looking for Chris.

It's especially egregious with RE9 because Leon barely interacts with Sherry in the remake. That's the main issue with remake2, they kill most of the character interactions to streamline the story.

Yall are doing too much LOL I guarantee you when we get to the Code Veronica Remake Claire is about to be talking about her own experience as well. Blame the shitty writing that they failed to mention Claire in RE9 … but it’s like not that deep 😭

While I don't disagree with him, I blame Capcom['s writers] more than Leon because why was there no mention of Claire at all in RE: Requiem, the literal return to Raccoon City? No mention of her or even Ada. I'm a fan of Leon, but Capcom clearly wants it to be his show.

But Leon was coerced into extreme military training, sent to practically suicide missions time after time. He was a liability to the US government... and that kind of things does happen in the real world...

I just honestly think since she immediately went on another horrific adventure against BOWs the original date doesn't stick with her as much As far as I know Leon didn't fight BOWs again after RE2 until RE4. He had more down time to linger on it.

Hate people using the term larp instead of troll. LARP is what they did in Role Models. I like all the characters so I don’t agree or disagree. So far RE4 is my favorite. Haven’t beat it yet, but I’ve found it hard to stop playing. Love the combat style in it

Because RC didn’t mean as much to Claire. She was there for Chris. RC was Leon’s city as a cop. His idealism died & the event shaped his life as he became an agent to protect Sherry. Claire is her mother figure. Leon is her guardian angel. Fundamentally different. 1/2

I find it ironic that despite how much he disses RE6, Haos was worthy to be given some attention. Admittedly, its status couldn't be ignored.

Well I guess he forgets how trauma works for some folks and its manifestations. Also blame CAPCOM for how they handled Veronica. I’m not saying he’s wrong in that Claire wasnt ALSO there but like…brother trauma affects people differently. So I hate that lol.

Last time I checked that game was a leon game had nothing to do with her why TF would they mention her especially when she's literally getting her own game coming up maybe they don't talk about Claire cause it's not a Claire game... And she had nothing to do with requiem

The be ultimately fair. Claire has less games. They could change this completely with the Code Veronica Remake.

Leon had more games, more significance after the event, and canonically had more encounters with Mr X, Birkin, and the Giant Monster at the end of the game. He's had it worse by a mile.
