It was a powerful reminder that when public transport is reliable, affordable, and safe, people will use it. Delhi is moving ahead with a renewed pace of development. Under the leadership of Transport Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh, the expansion of the Delhi Metro network is progressing rapidly, giving a new direction to connectivity and public transport in the capital. I took a nice ride on A Re Yeng to meet Mr George, a valued customer who has been using our service for the past 14 years and is wheelchair-bound. As a token of appreciation for his loyalty, we presented Mr George with a new wheelchair which he needed for his improved mobility . As the City of Tshwane, we remain committed to an inclusive public transport system. The street-level protests by our youth prove they want change, but forcing out a single official, whether it's Dharmendra Pradhan or even the CEC, doesn't magically fix a broken system. Does a resignation guarantee that exam papers will never leak again? No. We need deep structural overhauls, not temporary political exits. And to truly safeguard our democracy and restore complete public trust, it is time to embrace a return to Paper Ballots. As the world's largest democracy, we must set an example of unbreakable electoral integrity. #SystemicReform #PaperBallot #ElectoralIntegrity

On behalf of the Minister for Transport, Hon. Joseph Bukari Nikpe, under whose leadership I serve, I had the privilege of joining the management of Metro Mass Transit in Egypt for the final inspection of three hundred (300) ISUZU buses slated for delivery to Ghana. This important undertaking reflects the Minister’s clear vision and policy direction to strengthen Ghana’s public transport system through strategic investment in modern, reliable, and efficient mass transit. The arrival of these buses will significantly expand fleet capacity, improve service coverage, reduce long waiting times, and enhance safety and comfort for commuters. In practical terms, this intervention will ease the daily burden on workers, students, and traders, help decongest our roads, lower overall transport costs, and contribute to a more orderly and environmentally responsible urban transport system. I am sincerely grateful to Hon. Joseph Bukari Nikpe for the trust and confidence placed in me to carry out this assignment. His guidance and leadership continue to drive the Ministry’s efforts toward delivering practical solutions that directly impact the lives of citizens.
