To an extent , but I think it’s more complicated. It’s a fake sense of superiority that erupted from centuries of inferiority complex and subjugation. It’s more of a nau-daultiya syndrome .. someone who was always treated as shit, but now he got money so he thinks that he must do the same to those weaker than him, because only that behaviour legitimizes real power
