The hardest part of democracy is not disagreement, but learning to turn disagreement into progress. Democracy grows through friction, and each contest of ideas, when managed with fairness and trust, strengthens the institutions that hold a nation together. At the 5th Frontier Discourse in Abuja, organised by Pacesetter Frontier Magazine, I joined leaders, journalists, and thinkers to reflect on the politics of convergence and collision. I shared a view that holds true for every democracy: resilience is built through the ability to transform tension into progress. Nigeria’s story is still unfolding, and there is reason for optimism. Across our institutions and communities, there is a growing awareness that dialogue, inclusion, and accountability are the surest paths to national renewal. Progress is taking firmer shape, and each act of trust strengthens the foundation of our dear nation. Our responsibility now is to sustain institutions that can manage diversity with confidence and project credibility across borders. Governance, like diplomacy, thrives when anchored in principle and patience. The work of democracy continues, and it must carry every voice toward a more confident and united Nigeria. My gratitude to 𝙿𝚊𝚌𝚎𝚜𝚎𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝙵𝚛𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚎𝚛 Magazine for creating the platform for such a thoughtful national conversation. #Nigeria #Democracy #Leadership #Governance #Diplomacy #PublicService #Africa #AdemolaOshodi

Today, we’re excited to announce Salute Credits V1. As we all know.. the financial system runs on one thing above almost everything else: Trust. Today, trust is largely controlled by centralized institutions. Your financial reputation is built behind closed doors, determined by systems you can’t see, and ultimately owned by someone else. We believe there’s a better way. We believe trust should be earned through actions, not assumptions. Salute Credits is designed to help community members request and provide peer-to-peer credit while beginning to build a transparent reputation through real participation. For example, if someone in the community needs help, they can create a credit request. Another community member can decide whether they want to provide that credit, and over time, successful repayments begin building a transparent reputation based on real actions. Version 1 is intentionally simple. Every great product starts with a strong foundation, and that’s exactly what we’re building. This isn’t the finished product.. it’s the first brick. Our objective isn’t simply to help people request credit. It’s to begin building a transparent reputation layer where trust is earned through accountability, consistency, and participation over time. The internet connected people…blockchain connected value and we believe the next evolution is connecting trust. Below is a short clip that walks you through how Salute Credits V1 works and what we’re building toward. We’re incredibly excited about where this can lead, and this is only the beginning. Thank you to everyone who’s supported Salute from day one 🫡 $SLT $SALUTE 👉🏻 Access Salute Credit:

#JASMY defines the core of #Japan’s Web3 era. 🌐 For the Land of the Rising Sun, Web 3.0 is not merely a technical evolution of the existing Internet, but a profound structural shift in the way value, trust, and data are organized within the digital space. As conceptualized by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Web 3.0 must be built on a decentralized architecture in which individuals are no longer passive users of digital services, but autonomous actors capable of owning, controlling, and directly leveraging their data, digital identities, and assets. This vision stands in clear contrast to the Web 2.0 model, where information and value are concentrated within large platforms that capture the majority of the data and revenues generated by online interactions. Within this new paradigm, blockchain plays a fundamental role as a trust infrastructure. Through distributed ledgers and cryptographic mechanisms, it becomes possible to establish direct relationships between individuals, organizations, and services without relying on a central authority to validate exchanges. Mutual authentication, data integrity, and traceability are natively ensured by the protocol itself, while significantly reducing management and intermediation costs. Web 3.0 is thus expected to guarantee the uniqueness and authenticity of exchanged information, while offering strong resistance to data falsification or manipulation. A central pillar of this Japanese vision lies in the redefinition of data ownership. METI emphasizes that one of the major imbalances of today’s Internet stems from the excessive concentration of personal and industrial data in the hands of large digital platforms. Web 3.0, by contrast, aims to return ownership to individuals and data producers themselves, enabling them to freely determine the conditions under which their data may be used, shared, or monetized. This approach is part of a broader effort to rebalance digital power and restore trust in the digital economy, fully aligned with Japan’s principles of data circulation based on trust, notably the concept of Data Free Flow with Trust. The Japanese government also views Web 3.0 as a foundational layer for the emergence of new forms of digital economy. Tokenization whether through cryptocurrencies, utility tokens, governance tokens, or NFTs, makes it possible to represent and exchange value in a programmable and transparent manner. This gives rise to economic models in which users become direct stakeholders in the ecosystems they participate in, spanning content creation, decentralized communities, and innovative digital services. From this perspective, Web 3.0 is seen as a catalyst for industrial innovation and international competitiveness for Japan, particularly in areas such as the metaverse, the creator economy, and next-generation digital infrastructures. Finally, Japan’s vision of Web 3.0 extends far beyond financial or purely technological considerations. It is embedded in a broader societal strategy aimed at building a more equitable, resilient digital economy that is better aligned with human values. By restoring individual control over data and fostering digital interactions based on trust rather than centralization, Web 3.0 is envisioned as one of the pillars of a digital society capable of sustaining innovation while respecting the sovereignty of individuals, communities, and nations.

The Air Marshal Who Traded a ‘Uniform’s Legacy’ for a ‘Temple’s Ledger’!! In my view, Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra’s (Retd.) appointment as CEO of the Ram Mandir Trust is no cause for congratulations! India’s armed forces exist to serve a secular republic. A senior Air Force officer spends decades inside an institution whose entire identity rests on constitutional loyalty and institutional neutrality. When that same officer takes the top administrative post at a religious-political trust, it deserves scrutiny; not applause, and not dismissal as mere personal preference. To be clear: this isn’t about his private faith. That’s his own business. The question is which institution he’s chosen to lend his public credibility to - credibility built over a career in uniform, not earned overnight. The Ram Mandir Trust has faced real, persistent questions over the years; donation transparency, financial oversight, political influence and so on… Placing a senior Air Force Veteran at its helm doesn’t just bring administrative competence. It brings “borrowed trust” - the kind earned in service, now being spent elsewhere. That transfer of credibility is the real story here… His military background is precisely why people will trust him. But that same trust now obligates him to make the “Trust” genuinely transparent and accountable, meaning to actually confront the irregularities and political interference it’s been accused of. That means hard, potentially unpopular decisions that could put him at odds with the very political stakeholders who benefit from the status quo. From here, there are really only two roads: push back against those interests, or fall in line with them… The first is difficult, but consistent with the dignity of a secular military legacy. The second is easier; but the cost won’t stop at his personal reputation. It reflects on the institution he came from. There’s a quieter, deeper concern too. A decision this visible, by an officer (veteran) this senior, sends a message to serving personnel and to the generations after them - about where institutional credibility earned in a secular uniform can end up being spent. Frankly, it would have been more honest if he’d taken an openly political role instead; the way former Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria (Retd.) walked straight into the BJP. At least that leaves nothing to guess at. This is what deserves scrutiny - not outrage, just clear eyes on what’s really being traded here. The core tension worth sitting with: a secular military legacy, now lending its weight to a religious-political institution. A sad reality of the day.

‼️Erika Kirk Just ADMITTED That People No Longer TRUST Turning Point USA 😱 At the Turning Point Educators Summit today, Erika Kirk spent several minutes talking about how people no longer trust each other because of COVID. She claimed that’s why many people now trust AI (specifically naming Grok) more than they trust actual humans. What she was really doing was damage control. Turning Point USA has been getting repeatedly fact-checked by Grok and community notes for spreading misleading information. They’ve also already been caught using AI-generated content themselves. So now Erika is trying to convince people that AI can’t be trusted, while positioning Turning Point as the more reliable source. But in doing so, she accidentally admitted something very telling: People don’t trust Turning Point USA anymore. Instead of addressing why trust in the organization has collapsed since Charlie’s death, she blamed COVID and tried to discredit AI tools that are exposing their inconsistencies. This was a clear attempt to get ahead of the growing skepticism around Turning Point’s leadership and messaging. If Turning Point was still trusted, she wouldn’t need to spend time trying to convince people not to believe what they see online. The fact that she felt the need to address it at all says a lot. RT this. More people need to see how they’re spinning this. My channel is under attack to silence my investigation into the Charlie Kirk assassination. This road claims lives every year. This is one of the most dangerous roads in America. A mistake here is like hitting solid concrete at 120 miles per hour. Highway 152 near Gilroy, California. Oncoming traffic at a high rate of speed. Death and destruction only six feet away. Ford’s head of safety told me that most humans don’t do the right thing which is to scrub off maximum energy in to a wreck. I just diss the whole thing without touching my robot once. I am actually a doomer. I think through every millisecond of what would happen if a drunk comes directly at me. You probably won’t survive. But in a Cybercab with no steering wheel there is a good chance. The steering wheel kills many in high speed crashes. Getting rid of the steering wheel and using the extra eight inches of space for a bigger airbag will save many lives. By the way the marketers already know that if you trust a robot to do dangerous jobs for a couple of years you will be happy to trust your Optimus with your sex toys and guns. Figure won’t have the same trust level. Which is why I am most bullish about Tesla when it comes to robots in the home. It doesn’t matter who is first to the home. That won’t be Tesla. It matters most who has the most trust. I will wait for the Tesla. It has earned my trust. My robot does dangerous jobs every day. In the near future the Teslas ahead will warn my robot that a drunk driver is coming so pull over to the side and stop, which is the best action to take. Reduces speed offset by half giving you a dramatically higher chance of survival.

Tony Gwynn shares what it took to become one of the greatest hitters of all time and how to master the mental game. "It took me a while to figure it out, but after about 4 or 5 years, I started to realize that this thing was more mental than it was physical." He didn't figure it out alone. "Those first 5 years, I had great conversations with a lot of great players. Pete Rose, Willie Stargell, Henry Aaron, Mike Schmidt. I had a chance to sit down and talk to 'em - pick their brain, find out how they do what they do." The greats learn from the greats. They never stop learning. They never stop wanting to get better. "After about 4 years, I started to realize that this is more mental than physical. So what I need to do is get an approach that I think will work and then just trust the approach. Trust what you practice on. Trust it." That's the key. Create the plan then work the plan. And when it's not working, you still trust yourself. "During the winter, I can hit in a cage and be mechanically sound. But the first time I hit live in spring training, I'll be lucky if I get a ball out of the cage." "For younger guys, that's a sign of, 'Oh, I'm not getting out of the cage,' so they try to speed things up, do things quicker." Trust your approach and stay under control. Don't let frustration change who you are. The game is mental. The greats know that and they learn how to build a process that works for them. They adapt as needed, but they learn the art of focus. Focusing on how to master and trust the process. (🎥Special Collections )
