Seems problematic. Jack Smith claims he doesn’t recall how or who swore him in as special counsel. Keep in mind—Smith was so desperate for the job that he accepted the appointment while laid up with a fractured leg from a bike accident and made top DOJ officials fly to the Netherlands a few times to brief him.

It will be an entire jury of his peers, and a verdict requires every single juror on the jury, which is selected by both Trump’s attorneys and the prosecution, to agree that Trump is either innocent or guilty.
