The wife gets the husband to our outpatient for liver health check up. He's a daily drinker. He's been drinking for 15 years. His friends too. They are all doing fine. Him too. He does the tests. Just a bit of fatty liver. He says he's doing alright. We (me and my senior RMO) educate him how alcohol harms beyond the liver. He's not interested. We advised a psychiatrist review. He ignores it. Goes home. Drinks at night. Probably to teach the wife a lesson. In the morning he's back. This time on the ventilator. The ICU doctor sent me this. This guy is in for a long stay in the ICU and longer stay in the hospital. This can happen to anyone who drinks. Anyone. Anytime. Anywhere.

Tom Lee thinks 2027 could deliver "the biggest stock market gains in our lifetime." Not a vibe. He walked me through the actual mechanism: Right now the market punishes every company spending on AI — the capex shows up as cost, not return. His call is that this flips. "2027 is my best guess is the year. Corporate profit margins dramatically expand because of AI." This is just one of the parts of my secret sauce that makes up ⚡️ Hyper Realism on Photo AI and Interior AI Really high definition crispy details at up to 24 megapixels and very fast too and the most detailed upscaler out there now Kinda obvious but just going super high in resolution solves most of the problems of AI photos because every tiny detail (like a tiny hair on a skin) becomes a 640x480 block that can be generated by AI much more accurately than trying to do it as a few pixels It's made by my old AI dev philz1337x and for everyone to use at clarityai .co, I'm not affiliated but he's my friend and I use it!

Here's the Cody Bellinger catch to end today's Yanks/Guardians game. I wasn't going to post, but I've had multiple requests... This ball had a 99% catch probability according to Statcast. That may change given proximity to the wall. In my opinion, that's pretty tough on Cody, especially given the sun. But these are just measurements, and the sun is important context that's not included in those. A couple more notes: 1) The jump. -23.1 feet is really low, easily the weakest jump for an outfielder today. Only 9.1 feet in total for a ball that landed 66 feet away from where he started. 2) In the first comment I've shared the video from above home, you can see how far he went in the wrong direction at first. 3) This IS a really good recovery to make the grab, especially since he's barreling toward a wall in a road park he hasn't played in very much. 4) Excellent athletic finish, no issue with anybody considering this a really good catch to wrap up a win!

Our Kids Are Losing Proper English And It’s Not Just “Slang” It’s A Sort Of Chav HoodRat English! Has anybody else noticed how our youngsters talk these days? Especially in the towns and cities. It’s not the old accents we knew it’s this flat, mashed-up way of speaking that sounds half “chav” and half something else. It’s like they’ve never heard proper English spoken at home or in school. I’m convinced a big part of it is the migrant influence that’s flooded our culture over the years. We’ve brought in huge numbers of low-skilled people who didn’t grow up with our language, and instead of proper assimilation we just let it all mix. Now the clear, straightforward English that used to get passed down through families and proper schooling is getting diluted. Kids pick up whatever’s around them on the street and online, and it shows and it’s definitely coming from gang culture and rap music. This isn’t harmless evolution. It’s what happens when you change the makeup of a country fast without caring if the basics like speaking our own language properly. Our youngsters aren’t thick, they’re just soaking up what’s put in front of them. And we’re the ones who let it happen, this Chav Language disease is even infecting middle England now. What are your thoughts?

Why Elon and Nikita pushed Japan so hard this past week: It’s a business decision, not vibes. 1.X wants Japan. X has hit No. 1 in Japan’s App Store news rankings multiple times, but Yahoo Japan still dominates overall in scale and daily news consumption. Japan is a massive market, and Elon wants to weaken Yahoo Japan’s hold on it. 2.They needed a country to showcase auto-translation. Nikita is a product guy through and through (so am I, no shade). The same way he pushed Articles in January, now he’s pushing auto-translation. That’s the play. Articles never fit this platform. They’re too long, nobody reads them, and I stopped writing them six months ago. Has anyone written or read an article since January? Japan is just the latest marketing push. 3.There is a political angle. Elon uses this platform to drive politics(I am Thankful for this). A huge share of visibility on X already flows through him, that matters. People love saying conservatives are stifled, but if that much reach is landing on our side, that helps the movement. And here’s the bigger point: More Asians should be voting conservative, but that bloc is still not where it needs to be. If Elon / X, which have effectively become conservative, start heavily backing Japan, more Asians will get on board with Elon, and from there, with conservatives. Japan is a cultural icon for most Asians, myself included(don’t tell my parents). Japan carries status across Asia. Koreans compete with them constantly, but we still admire them. Across the rest of Asia, Japan has prestige. If Japan thinks it is cool, the rest of Asia follows. (This is hard for me to admit).
