Iraqi forces have executed a late night raid, and allegedly captured pro-Iranian politicians like Alia Nassif. The raid took place in the Iraqi green zone, where most government functions operate out of. Raids are continuing into the night where unconfirmed reports state that several more politicians apart of the Iraqi Parliament are being arrested.

This video highlights the terror of these drone attacks by the Iraqi PMF. Even though it’s being filmed from hundreds of metres away, shrapnel from the explosion are raining down on the bystanders - visible by the reaction of these Kurdish men as well as audibly heard by the shrapnel hitting the ground and buildings. Even as only one building gets attacked - in a radius of a few hundred meters, the shrapnel turns into dangerous projectiles - causing damage to property, infrastructure and humans.

Autonomous region of Kurdistan (Iraq) The Iraqi federal military has yesterday prevented Kurdish farmers from cultivating their land. As the footage shows: brute force was used to prevent the Kurdish farmers from reaching their lands. This happened near the Shanagha (Shenaxeh) village of Sargaran (Sergeran) - this is one of four villages that regularly faces these challenges by the Iraqi federal government. In short: During the arabisation process of Kurdish territories under the Iraqi government (Saddam Hussein) and the genocide of the Kurdish people - Iraq has gifted these lands to Arab settlers. With the downfall of the Iraqi Ba’ath regime - these settlers should’ve had their claims nullified, yet the new Iraqi government failed to do so. Now these Iraqi settlers continue to claim these lands for themselves while Kurds are not allowed to cultivate their lands. This is a repeated process, happens every year before spring, during spring and in the harvest season. The Iraqi federal government has recently issued a bill that will resolve these problems and reverse the demographic-changing processes by the Iraqi regime, yet they weren’t implemented. Good news: local mediation and the steadfastness of Kurdish farmers has resulted in them being allowed to cultivate their lands. I’d like to underline: what the Iraqi federal army is doing there is a violation of the Iraqi Constitution and a violation of the area of responsibilities of the Iraqi military.

The units stationed there are mostly Turkmen members of the Hashd; they are also part of the Hashd Special Forces. Aside from that, these units are the ones who were involved in the attacks against the Autonomous Region of Kurdistan; both during and before the current war - operating out of Kirkuk in the Nineveh plains.

The breadth, depth, and tempo of U.S. military strikes on #Iran's regime is steadily increasing. Not only are bridges being destroyed, but tunnels as well (the Shahid Mirzaei tunnel). The strikes have also migrated from coastal areas like Bandar Abbas and around Chabahar inland to places like Isfahan. The U.S. continues to destroy infrastructure around Bandar Abbas to isolate and strangle it from being used to resource its attacks on commercial shipping.
