In the framework of ongoing efforts to clear the area of terrorist remnants, under the direct supervision of Wahab Halabjaiy , Director General of Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG), joint forces successfully conducted a strategic operation. The operation, carried out with high-level coordination between Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG) forces, Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service جهاز مكافحة الإرهاب , and Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve Operation Inherent Resolve , resulted in the discovery and elimination of several terrorist hideouts and bases. This joint operation dealt a significant blow to terrorist capabilities and further weakened the logistical infrastructure of remaining terrorist groups in the region. This operation is part of a continuous series of efforts aimed at maintaining security and stability in the region and protecting civilian lives and property. CTG forces and their domestic and international partners remain committed to their efforts in eradicating terrorism and countering any threats to regional security.

Under the orders of President Massoud Barzani, the #Peshmerga took part in freeing and defending these areas from #ISIS terrorists. Eleven years after the liberation of #Kobanê, enemies of the Kurdish people continue to scheme against Kurdish regions. However, President Masoud Barzani remains actively engaged with foreign countries and the officials of West Kurdistan to once again safeguard the land and people of West Kurdistan. The unity of the #Kurdish people everywhere is a source of pride for us all. We honor the souls of the martyrs of Kurdistan, and especially the martyr (Zerevan Akram), who was martyred in Kobanê and stood as a shield in defense of #Kurdistan against terrorists.
